The extra star is for the American employees that work there. They deserve something. Otherwise, this place is just another American giveaway to foreign entities in the form of precious Arizona water. Aren't Americans nice? We'll die of thirst before letting Saudi cows die of hunger. Thanks to state and federal governments, they're giving away the farm, literally. How's about letting the Chinese in on the freebees? They've taken everything else - why not water, too? When all the water is gone and the state dries up, the people born and raised here will just have to go somewhere else. So keep your recyclable bags packed and EV charged up! Our most precious resource given away to "people" who could care less if Arizona, and the US, dies.

Saudi farm for Saudi cows to get alfalfa their own country has banned since it uses too much water for the desert country to support. Hmmm. Makes you think.
Wells are going dry and these desert companies are sucking the water out faster than it replenishes. Thank Ducey for giving this foreign company a sweetheart deal that their water consumption isn't even metered or monitored. Thank you Katie Hobbs for saying this is a "sensitive issue" while dragging her heels to do anything despite Colorado River Basin ranking among the world’s most water-stressed regions.

Water Wars are very real and happening down the street.

Saudi alfalfa farm stealing our water. They should be kicked out of the states and forced to use their own arid land to feed their cows. Complete garbage from our so called "representatives".

Grow your alfalfa in Saudi Arabia. Stop using our water. What is wrong with the Arizona state land department representatives? And given at lower than market prices...what are you people thinking?

Shame on the state of Arizona for renting land to this company and allowing them to take precious water from the American desert for use overseas in the middle east. Outrageous. Fondomonte should not operate another day.

I'm not even US citizen but, not prioritizing water supplies to locals first? It's so ridiculous and shame.

This company is saudi-owned and shipping alfalfa overseas while depleting millions of gallons of water! TRUCKERS! STEP UP AND BOYCOTT THIS FARM! DON'T TAKE LOADS FROM HERE, OR DELIVER HERE!

Well managed and a great source of employment for the locals. Hundreds more people would end up on government assistance if the politicians were to shut it down.
