Great small place in Nevada City! Visited August 16th..see receipt.

This place is located on Zion Street (next to the Ham Stand). This is not a restaurant - take out only. They have delicious tamales and organic tortillas. I ordered the chicken Verde tamale to go. You can have it heated up or bring it home to heat later.

I like that they are servicing the schools with their organic tortillas! They also have some products such as mole available.

Nice little place with almost half a pound (each) tamales for sale! Great to share!

It smells good inside...warm tortillas!

Lucky to have this in our area! I usually swing by and pick up some fresh made tortillas for our home taco nights. Service is always wonderful.

Recently came back to town and they started serving food. Not the most amazing tacos I’ve ever had but it does the pinch when your hungry. I’m happy to support local when I can and will continue to stop by for those must have items.

ALWAYS the best! We are lucky to have HOLA in our community, and hear now that they are providing tortillas for our schools, so our community kids are getting top quality tortillas also!!

Most of the times I’ve been in this place I’ve had a bad experience.
Many times I’ve ordered for two food items and I come back home finding they only gave me one.
Regardless the food has a good and authentic Mexican taste, the service is terrible and they are always out of some food items announced on their menu.
Also it’s quite expensive, I know they use organic ingredients but still, they have now enchiladas and they are served so poorly ,they served it with no beans or rice.
I don’t know why if they sell food on site they don’t put effort to give a good service and good servings.

Could not wait to finally try the tacos. They had to be the blandest tacos I've ever had. The meat tasted as if boiled in water. Not a bit of seasoning in the chicken or pork. Maybe they specialize in tamales? I don't know. It was pretty bad.

Mole tamale was dank, lots of stuffing, maíz was thin layer. For $7 pretty good deal considering how hard it is to feed yourself under $10 these days when on the go

Great homemade Mexican take-out. Wonderful owner makes wonderful food. Take home a bunch of homemade tortilla’s also!
