Loved the pretzel and the currywurst.

Beer cheese went well with the pretzel. Has a nice gruyere taste.

I liked the potato salad. It is a cold potato salad and not a warm German one. I could do without the micro greens on it, but otherwise it was fine.

Perfect place to stop in for a beer or two and some food.

Deliciously amazing spot in Nevada City. German options on all fronts. Potato salad or beer or a wonderful brat.

Great outdoor area with a chic setting...yet still holds to the area's historical vibe.

Great new place in the heart of Nevada City. Went there March 19th...see receipt.
Beautiful indoor dining area. The outside dining area is huge and pet friendly!
This is a relaxing and casual atmosphere with ample room to bring your friends and enjoy the sunshine!
I stopped in and had to try their pretzel..it came with 3 dipping sauces. All were delicious! The pretzel can easily feed 3 people! They serve all kinds of tasty beer (not much of a beer drinker) and wine. I brought home much of the pretzel for later to enjoy.
It is located at 300 Spring Street. Great location to walk to all the shops in Nevada City!
The employees seem to be happy working there...good vibe. KIERAN waited on me and she was polite and friendly! Give this place a try! I heard they have plans down the road for more menu items. Can't wait to come back with friends!

Beer is good. Service is almost non existent. Food other than pretzel is mediocre at best. Maybe there doing so well they don’t need to try?
I would highly recommend moving to a QR ordering system and a more traditional Irish bar food menu. I would have enjoyed at least 2 more beers if I could have.

After we were seated and ordered our drinks and food two large dogs were seated within 12 inches of our table. One was an aggressive chow-chow (as described by the owner) who snapped and went after the waitress and then a family with a child in a stroller. We had 3 very young children at our table - a 2 years old and 7 month old twin babies. They were frightened by the loud barking and attack mode of the chow. The waitress informed the patron with the dog that aggreasive dogs were not allowed. The couple did not leave. We wanted to leave and should have. Our drinks came out fast but our food service was very poor. We waited 90 minutes for a charcuterie board, pretzel bites and curry dog. Even though we are Nevada City residents, sadly after this incident we will never return to The Brewhaus.

My boyfriend and I came here for our lunch on our anniversary trip. I have a gluten allergy and when we walked in I asked to see a menu before we sat down. Nothing on the menu is marked gluten free so I asked if they had any options and an employee let me know that they could do some of the appetizers, and some of the dishes without crostini and that the roasted veggie bowl and the bratwurst dish didn’t have a carb and they were naturally gluten free. We decided to eat here, and I ended up getting the roasted veggie bowl and add a bratwurst as the protein. I ate over half the bowl before my boyfriend took a bite and said he tasted beer. I immediately went up to the counter and asked if anything was made with beer and they said no. Finally my boyfriend specifically asked about the bratwurst and the server finally said that it was brined in beer. Beer is not gluten free. Super disappointing that the staff isn’t knowledgeable on food allergies, and how their food is made. Also, when our server found out about the mistake made she didn’t offer to do anything to make it right. Thankfully I am not severely intolerant like some others, but this did ruin the rest of our anniversary and just overall a super disappointing experience and we wouldn’t go back.

BrewHaus is a great stop in Nevada City. Great outdoor vibes, friendly staff, and great food. The menu isn’t overly complex which is refreshing. Our waitress was very friendly and added to the experience. I will definitely stop back in when in town.

I think I’ve left like three reviews in my entire life. Mostly for things that are incredible this unfortunately was not the case when we visited this establishment for my Birthday. It took 20 minutes for someone to even ask us what we wanted to eat. It took an additional 25 minutes before we got our salads. The order was wrong and only one salad had chicken on it. They took both salads back and came back and had clearly just split the one chicken breast over the two salads. Nothing in the salad had needed to be cooked and clearly the chicken was fridge cold and had been cooked hours earlier so why the entire thing took 45 minutes I will never know.
