The most Mystical Farm visit imaginable, I accompanied 2 fellows, both members of my SF Community Garden, up there for a CSA community Work Weekend. The Farm was amazing, my second BioDynamic Farmworking experience. First one was in Canada on Otto Roth's Orchard in the Okanagan Valley, back in early 70's.

My visit here was during 90's Bubble, many young pepple were streaming in from Bay Area & Points North, to secure their "investment" in the future of our World. In addition to an enlightening glimpse into the inner workings of the CSA, the BioDynamic techniques, the wisdom & graciousness of the Farm Proprietors & the amazing crew they'd assembled, we all had the honor of he presence of Shoshone Elder, Healer & often one-Man Vigil protesting the Nevada Nuclear Test Site, Corbin Harney. He was mentioned in a book my friend had collected for a documentary he'd hope to make on the Pomo Tribe in Clear Lake, not that far East of Mendocino Co.

He was awesome, the power he held was breathtaking. He was there to bless the farm , it's crops & all of us, too, I guess, because I sure felt Blessed when I tore myself away, kicking & screaming.

He spoke to many issues confronting his Native People from all Tribes, whom he assisted in so many ways. Having the ears of Young Urban Professionals was one way he spread his messages of concern & warning, about the Earth, the Land & the Water, which was being threatened even then by ongoing toxic encroachments upon Rivers, Streams, Lakes & the Oceans, affecting the water tables & aquifers in Native Communities & beyond. It was truly a Prescient event, foretelling both our present Crises & our New Alignment, with diverse Communities all over the World. This was Corbin's Gift & legacy to future generations.

I was saddened to hear of Corbin's passing in 2007, I'd become more a activist after seeing him in Action, & following his work in The Shunduhai Network.

Any Farm that could attract his energies is worth it's weight in Gold, I figure. Glad to see it is still going strong now, decades later.
