The best freshly baked Lebanese flat bread you could find in Bham! ❤️❤️
They also make Za'atar/cheese bread on the weekends, or you could order a day in advance

This is definitely on my list of favorite local spots in the Birmingham area. A fantastic Mediterranean restaurant that also has a small market inside. They also make their own pitas in house. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Really enjoyed my zaatar pie (really more of a sandwich) with sour cream, tomato, onion, green bell pepper, and olives on the side. The produce was crisp, the pita was fresh, and the zaatar tied it all together with a satisfying earthiness. The Lebanese coffee was nice, too - a little different taste than brewed coffee - but I added a whole bunch of sugar to it.

This is one of my favorite spots in the Birmingham area. The lady that cooks here gets it right every time, her food is delicious, and it’s one of the only places that’s still reasonably priced. There’s an open area for eating with friends, or you can cut around the corner and sit undisturbed at the window in relative quiet.

The owner followed me around the store without addressing me or my needs, but somehow relaxed after I spoke to him. I could've made the gyro/sandwich at home. I loved the secure wrapping.

I've been eating food from here since I was a teenager. Things were great back then. I'm...not so sure about it now, though. The quality has been taking a dive as of late. I keep giving this place chance after chance, since I've been going here for a long time.

Today, I had a steak shawarma. I bit into it, and I'm just...left feeling depressed. The steak tasted "off". It was crumbly, dry and devoid of life. Pickled turnips were a mushy mess. Why were they only at the top of the shawarma? Where's everything else? Where's my pickle? The oil the pita chips were cooked in tasted old!

This wasn't even the only instance of the food being "off". Multiple times in a row makes me sad. It's been "hit or miss", with "miss" becoming too commonplace.

Ordered from here through Doordash. If you have any texture issues surrounding food, they have no problem accommodating. It truly meant the world to me. Don’t forget the baklava with your meal either! 🙂

I’m from Arkansas traveling for my job, I’ve had many shawarmas over the years, but this was the absolute best one I’ve ever had. I’ve definitely found my new favorite restaurant while in town!
