I'm not from the area but was sitting at the red light when I saw the bakery sign. I pulled in and was greeted with a big smile from the man behind the counter. I ended up getting 2 pastries and one chocolate covered cannoli. I got home and tried a piece of one of the pastries🥴OUTSTANDING!! Very glad I stopped in.

Alex is great, some of the pastries ive eaten since moving up here. His grain pie is so good, cakes are always great and donuts are also filled to the brink. All his items with filling are overfilled! Great great stuff !

FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK AND TRAVEL TO LAGRANGEVILLE, NY TRYING TO MAKE IT MONTHLY TO VISIT WITH OUR FRIENDS THAT LIVE THERE,WE WENT TO HOME ON 3/15/25 ,MY FRIEND AND I TALKED DURING THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE AND I TOLD HIM IN THE WAY I WAS GOING TO STOP AND PICK UP RYE BREAD,BUT BILL STOPPED ON FRIDAY TO GET SOME AND OWNER HAD TOLD HIM HE COULD ORDER AND PICK UP IN COUPLE DAYS ,BILL SAID NO NEED IT FOR SATURDAY, YOU TOLD BILL YOU WOULD COME IN SATURDAY AND MAKE IT AND I STOPPED THERE ON SATURDAY AND PICKED IT UP ,FIRST THE BREAD WAS VERY GOOD ,BUT FOR YOU COMING IN AND MAKE IT SO WE COULD ENJOY IT WE THANK YOU ,I TOLD BILL THAT I LIVED CLOSER TO THAT AREA I WOULD BE THERE EVERYDAY ,WE HAVE ALSO HAD SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS FROM YOUR SHOP THAT ARE ALL VERY TASTY, THANK YOU

Pulled off the Taconic for a zoom call and as the call ended I was thinking it’s time for a sweet treat. I look up and boom Dolce Italian Bakery. The decor, doesn’t matter…
The sweat treats….amazing…..

The chocolate covered cannoli was my favorite and I will admit the box of Italian cookies never made it home. 😎

I absolutely LOVE this bakery! They have a HUGE selection of goodies. The owner and staff are so very nice ! Prices are incredibly reasonable. The Easter eggs are just adorable! Check this place out 😉

UPDATE 🙂 2 years later and I just got the best strawberry shortcake we have ever had for my younger daughter’s birthday! We also bought Alex’s homemade GLUTEN FREE cheesecake and almond cookies, they are absolutely amazing. Everything this guy does is delicious. Thank you!

Total waste of time and money. I feel sorry for those that have to eat those cakes that they call Italian pastries. They obviously have never been to a real Italian bakery from Brooklyn or any one of the five boroughs.

As the daughter of a Sicilian, culinary trained, pastry chef, this bakery hits all the marks! Plenty to choose from. All the classics. The Pignoli Cookies are the best I have ever had. The crumb cake (which is a staple in a Sicilian home) was moist and the crumb topping divine! The donuts beat any chain around. Fresh! The coffee always comes with a side of good cooking advice from the owner!
