Their Michelin star is well deserved! Outstanding service. The food is well prepared and very tasty. Kudos to the sommelier on the extensive wine list. The cocktails are also very good. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. The tortellini pomodoro were light and fluffy. The driver sole was excellent.

I had the most unforgettable experience dining at Torrisi tonight. The food was absolutely phenomenal—especially the duck, the affogato, and the cucumber. But what truly blew me away was the service. Every team member was kind, passionate, and attentive in a way that felt so genuine.

I came in on crutches due to a recent knee injury, and several staff members warmly wished me a speedy recovery. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. Special shoutout to Marquis (I hope I got the name right!) in the white suit—he was amazing.

Torrisi isn’t just a dinner—it’s a memory. Thank you for turning a tough week into such a bright, beautiful night.

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Torrisi in New York City, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible waiter, Fernando. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel so welcome and comfortable. His recommendations were spot-on—every dish he suggested was absolutely delicious, and his knowledge of the menu was impressive.

What truly set Fernando apart was his personality. He was warm, attentive, and made our dinner not just seamless but genuinely fun. He had the perfect balance of professionalism and charm, making sure we had everything we needed while also adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

If you’re dining at Torrisi, I highly recommend asking for Fernando. He elevates the entire experience, and I can’t wait to come back for another fantastic meal.

The pastas were up there with the best. We had the the beef ragu and clam linguine. Both perfect. The portions are small that’s my only complaint. The crispy skin on the duck was also excellent. It was juicy and fatty and perfect with the jus on the plate. The spritz also hit the spot. The almond cheesecake was also quite good but not a must order

Torrisi deserves all the hype and more. I was exceedingly impressed with my entire dining experience here. I came for lunch and sat at the bar received excellent service from every single person, everyone has proper menu knowledge, the service was attentive but not , the lighting is absolutely stunning, the entire interior is absolutely stunning, comfortable, upscale, but also felt like home in a way. The food? Impeccable. The duck was the best duck I've ever had and the tortellini is that good. You actually can't even fathom how good this tortellini is I promise you. The Affogato is an absolute must it blew my mind I'm not exaggerating.

Torrisi is an incredible restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere are all wonderful.

I have eaten here twice at the bar as a solo diner and it felt special and relaxed both times. I can’t wait to come back with a friend and try more dishes. Side note: both times I did a walk in on a Friday lunch time.

Whatever you do, do not say no to the bread. It’s so flavourful and one of the best parts of the meal. The tortellini pomodoro is outstanding and a must try! I also love their crudo. At the end they give you very pretty miniature Italian ices and cookies which is a nice touch.

This place does not disappoint. The hype is deserved. Delicious food in a lovely environment with stellar service. The antipasto and pastas and deserts were all perfect. The tortellini pomodoro is as good as people say. Almond cheesecake delicious. Hard rez to get but worth the effort
Easier at lunch.

One of the most expensive Italian experiences in NYC. The restaurant opens at 5 pm and we got in at 5:15 pm on a reservation. We wanted to order the braised lamb, although the menu did say it was limited availability, the server told us it was already out for the night. Was it really out within 15 mins after the opening? The server then told us there was another special dish, the skirt steak so we ordered it.

Overall the experience was good, but my personal opinion is that there are many other Italian places with similar menu at a much lower price. If you have never been there, it’s worth checking it out on a special occasion, only if you can consistently check Resy repeatedly everyday for a reservation.
