I only order from China Star in my neighborhood.I ordered today and had it delivered due to my toddler napping. I ordered online, when I received it- one item was incorrect. After calling they explained how they make it differently (it was chow mein- they use cabbage not noodles) and they were so pleasant and delivered a replacement. And the food was delicious!

No complaints here. I recently moved here finding food like home is blah: this is the best place in the area I have had: food be delicious and when I had a special request for something they did it and it didn't fail. I usually order delivery but went in one time and customer service was just as good from the young men at the counter: my favorite spot in mastic this far. Thanks

Food was mediocre and gave me the runs 2hrs after consuming this. (I havent eaten all day prior to this)

Also i was told the price was $16 total but today they changed it to $20. (Was alerted by my bank)

I’ve been ordering from here for over 6 yrs and today I tried to place an order for my kid, fried chicken combination w rice. My kid is picky so he doesn’t like his chicken touching his rice, so I asked could he have the chicken separately. I was told no and I would have to order a small rice and a small chicken wing! Like are you serious!

DISGUSTING THIS NASTY CHINESE IS GROSS DO NOT ORDER HERE. FIRST I USE TO ORDER VEGETABLE RICE THAT CAME WITH PEAS AND CARROTS ALL OF A SUDDEN I ORDER THE SAME THING THEY BRING IT WITHOUT PEAS AND CARROTS AND NOW SAY I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR PEAS AND CARROTS.
I SAID OK AND DID THAT. NOW ANOTHER ISSUE PAID EXTRA AND STILL NO PEAS AND CARROTS. I CALLED CHINA STAR RUDEST ASIAN WOMAN MUST BE THE OWNER ASNSWERS AND LIES SHE WILL GIVE YOU ANYTHING TO MAKE A DOLLAR. SHE SPEAKS AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH BUT THEN PRETEND DONT NO TO READ. SO NOW SHE CAN READ THIS REVIEW.
FIRST SHE SAID THEY HAVE A NEW COOK AND CHARGED ME 10$ TO ADD PEAS CARROTS TO MY ORDER. THIS NEW COOK DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO COOK. FIRST THE RICE WAS DIRTY HARD OLD RICE MIXED IN AS IF FROM DAYS BEFORE AND POT NOT WASHED.BITTER OLD REUSE OLD OIL AND I SAW RAT FECES IN THE RICE AND LONG STRINGS IN THE FOOD. I TOOK ONE SPOON AND THREW UP! HOW IS ANYONE SUPPPOSE TO EAT THIS RICE AND NOT CHOKE ( SEE PICTURES)STAY CLEAR THIS PLACE IT IS NASTY.

I order Chinese 3 lunch specials and of course the one I got had Staples in the meal. I felt something sharp in my food I spit it out and sure enough there was staples in my food. I took it back with the paper towel I spit on. They asked me how the staples got in the food. Hello the plastic container was closed it was in the food it wasn’t noticeable until I ate it. Do you like if I would have saw staples in my food I would have ate it. No refund the man’s says I don’t know how this happened. I love this place but time to go elsewhere.

Never again, I will order from these people again the rice is burnt. I never received my extra rice I called them they didn’t solve the problem at all so this is my last time I’m ordering from them. This is the first time I ever ate that food and I would never eat it again.
