This was my first time dining in and it won't be my last. There is a warm and friendly environment and the staff made us feel right at home. I got one of the burger specials and I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

The salad bar was great and there is even homemade 1000 island and blue cheese dressing. I had the soup of the week (turkey dinner soup?) and it was very flavourful.

There is plenty of seating and plenty of smoked meat options.

1st time here and very impressed. Take out or dine in and I highly suggest dine in. Lovely warm room with a salad bar and beautiful decorated.

Mac n cheese is stupid good (see empty bowl)
Chefs here are well trained and their ever changing specials are truly interesting and tasty.

Yes you can buy meats/cuts of all types but the restaurant side is fantastic in its own right. You can tell the people who work here care. Nice to see in '24.

How has this place been open for this long, so close to home and serving this level of deliciousness without me knowing?
The smell of that smoker running outside made my stomach growl for food as soon as I got out of the car…

First a great remodel, comfortable seating dining room, clean and well kept!
Staff super friendly and knowledgeable.
The food, lord, the food…
The soups made fresh and changed out weekly,(I tried the scalloped potato and New England clam chowder) - home made, delicious.
I had the cowboy beans and smoked mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was smooth creamy and awesome! The cowboy beans had enough meat in it of all varieties to count as an entree.
The “queen cut” prime rib came out perfect (it was a huge cut)and I got the shrimp topper. The shrimp in a garlic butter sauce was great and added that garlicy butter to the prime rib.

I also tried the brisket and the corn bread muffin. The brisket was “melt in your mouth” smokey deliciousness. The sweetest cornbread was a perfect couple with the cowboy beans.

I got so wrapped up in the soups available at the included salad bar (with a nice selection of salad options) I forgot to get pics ….

Next time… I’ll get the pics!!

Great BBQ restaurant that has way more than typical BBQ places. There's a soup and salad bar, and daily specials that are outstanding! Wait staff was wonderful and the owner came by our table to ask how our meals were. The soup was an amazing seafood chowder with shrimp, scallops, lobster and swordfish. Smoked turkey dinner with homemade stuffing, osso buco, and excellent brisket and ribs. If you're in the area, this is a must-try stop 👏👏👏

How this place isn't packed is beyond me. We walked in and angel greated us, she was amazing the whole time. Then the food came and wow out of this world can't recommend ranchers choice enough.

Wow. The food was excellent! My wife and I both got the Barnyard Burger and it was cooked perfectly to our request and tasted phenomenal!! We can't wait to go back and try more!

Absolutely amazing. From the ambiance, to the speed and efficiency of the service, to how well prepared the food was. One of those places where if you leave hungry, it's your own damn fault. It far exceeded our expectations, especially having driven by the place many times and never knew it was a dine in joint. The open salad bar was a great touch, you don't see them very often anymore! From the Poutine to the BBQ plates... *chefs kiss*

We WILL be going back, many more times to come.

Greeted promptly by staff. It was our first time dining in, it will won’t be our last.
Soup and salad bar were included with our dinners. Warm and friendly staff and atmosphere. The owners are on site talking with the diners, very personable. Food was great, portions were not small. Thank you for making us feel like we had been customers for years. 💯 recommend.
