I bought Laxmi brand Atta. It had maggots inside. shop told me to contact company hosindia. Horrible customer service. No working numbers. Finally was able to reach their office in Chicago. And they refused to help, refund or replace. They said we are going out of business already.

Elephant Brand Rice 817. It's from the Punjab. It's traditional, aged Basmati Rice that is absolutely superb. Definitely do business with the House of Spices in Flushing, New York . You will be taken good care of I promise you.

Do not buy any Laxmi brand products. I paid more for wheat flours, almost double and it had lots of worms and bugs. I also bought Sooji or Cream of wheat. After I soaked in yogurt for two hours, it became slimy and like a glue, plastic paste, which you can stretch. I thought my yogurt was bad or I soaked for too long. I also sifted it to see bugs but no bugs. Then I soaked more sooji in water and in half an hour, again it became slimy. When I told my sister who lives ina different state, she checked and same results. I bought from three different stores and same results. Do not buy any Laxmi products they mix who knows what their products. I am very angry and frustrated. One more thing, do not think FDA or any U.S. watches or regulates them and you are safe. You try yourself, confirm and spread the words spread the words to protect your family from the frauds and cheating.

I bought a bag of lakshmi brand idli rice. It has 40% of idli rice and 60% of boiled ponni rice. What a cheating. This brand is costly but quality is bad. Making people fool. I sent photos of receipt and rice to them. I won't recommend this brand anymore.

Look like, Of late quality of its product especially garavi gujarat brand has been on downward slop. need to improve the quality and taste. We stopped buying their product.
