Gives big portions! For 2 apps, 2 drinks and 1 entree it was $88 so a bit pricey.

Onion rings were good but HUGE portion. Cajun ranch was also good. Tater tots were great but the cheese was not that good. Wouldn’t get that type of cheese again.

Cajun chicken pasta was great and lots of leftovers.

Overall cute place and you’ll definitely have leftovers

Nice place to watch sports with friends, good food and very friendly staff! Our food was tasty. The nhoque plate is huge and I couldn’t finish (it’s a “heavy meal” for me). Delicious calamari.

It was my first time coming to Southpaw and I was very excited because I have multiple friends and colleagues that have already frequented the restaurant and gave it decent to good reviews. Upon entering, it took a really long time for a hostess to get to the front desk; but that's ok, I understand it was busy and she was probably running around taking care of business. My issue isn't so much with the staff, but with my meal. I am extremely certain my food was an order that someone else sent back, and it was given to me. I have worked in hospitality and I KNOW what this looks like. I also know restaurants will defend themselves in saying that's a health code violation and they'd never do something like that. But oh crap have I seen some violations, including, City Winery pulling the same stunt in Manhattan. I ordered a very simple wrap with chicken. It came to my table in between the time I ordered it, to my table, within 2-5 minutes. It was drenched in tepid dressing and was barely ROOM TEMPERATURE and the sauce had already pooled at the bottom when it does if it stays like that for a while. If it was cooked, it would have had hotter protein - but it was warm as if it had been sitting out OR, someone ordered it and sent it back. I immediately said "that was REALLY fast" to the waitress and she smiled. I still paid for the food and tipped well, and did not stir a up a commotion as I was ready to leave and really had to go. It's really too bad, because I wanted to like this place and they have a decent menu, but this one experience really put me off.

Got there and the place was packed (that maybe a good sign) we waited about 25-27 minutes even though we were told 35 minutes (another great sign). We were seated at a high top table waited a few minutes to look over the menu and our waitress came over and took our drink menus; I ordered the "Porter" she said that they were out of it (bad sign) had to choose something else 'ok no big deal', I chose the milk stout my wife asked if the could make her a lemon drop in which the did. We received our drinks toasted to each other, till my wife said that her drink was PURE alcohol her lemon drop martini was no where near lemon took a few more sips and then had to order something else because it wasn't drinkable (bad sign #2) she decided to order a margarita when it arrived at the table it was the same as the lemon drop undrinkable too ( bad sign #3) the only saving grace was the food. The place has a great atmosphere good vibes and great for friends and family. FOUR STARS only because of our drinks

Decided to splurge on some take out with the family for our “staycation”. We ordered around $200 work of apps and meals to share. Arrived to pick up and they couldn’t find our food. Turns out it was behind the kids the whole 10 minutes he looked, forgot about me, asked if I was waiting for a table and decided to look again. I know take out is never as good, but takeout sitting even longer is worse. Got back to our hotel to find no cutlery and no sauces. Ok. No biggie. Then the burger was missing toppings and wasn’t cooked correctly. It was all mostly mush from sitting so long. There were some good points. The chicken was great. Pretzel delicious. But all overshadowed by a poor experience and a few mistakes.

Southpaw has extremely large portions and could easily be shared. Service was friendly, outside patio seating at the table was comfortable. Rice pudding is absolutely delicious.

I was in town for the weekend & met with some of my girlfriends for dinner & drinks on a Saturday night. Everything was delicious & the ambiance was beautiful. Buffalo chicken pizza was sooo good. Also loved the music playing. Staff was attentive & professional. I also believe the owner took our photo which was super nice of him. I’ll definitely be back when I visit again.
