Really happy with this property.

We stayed 4 nights in a landmark city view + king room (27th floor). Room layout was intuitive and practical. Good layout of outlets/USB ports. Plenty of space and storage for two people — I appreciated a lot of hooks/hangers, including hooks in the shower for washcloths or loofahs, crazy how many properties don’t have this!

Room was clean, temp control was easy/efficient, *great* shower and water pressure. I’ve seen other reviews saying the soundproofing isn’t good; it might be because I live in a major US city already and am used to “noise,” but I never noticed anything extraordinary about the noise. Yes, in a 40-floor hotel you might hear doors closing in the hallway at 10am…

Gripes about the elevators are accurate but a little moan-y IMO — you’re always going to wait 3-5 minutes minimum for an elevator when you’re traveling down to the lobby from your room but this really wasn’t something that affected my stay.

We also left our bags with the staff for ~4 hours when there was a gap between checkout and our leaving for the airport — picking up the bags at the end was quick & easy.

The location, cleanliness and vibe of this property checked all my boxes and we will probably elect to make return visits to Motto.

To say the rooms are small is being generous - bathroom did not have room for a sink so that was in the bedroom. Soundproofing poor. No coffee facilities. Staff are polite, but don't ask them anything out of the ordinary. Cleanliness good. Bar is popular. Good location close to the iconic Chelsea Hotel. Gym small but has everything you need.

Ok, the room was really small. I expect that in Manhattan. But it was also cool! I love the decor. The shower is great - you can tell it had to be designed by a woman! The service was excellent except for waiting on ice delivery. And I love the Chelsea location. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy room: very modern. Love the vibe. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was compact but had all I need. The shampoo and body soap were very refreshing. It was also very conveniently located. The steak and eggs served in the resto was very good quality.

Excellent location away just a tad away from Times Square. Walkable to tons of great food and coffee places. Jaime, Maggie, and Marissa were very helpful and attentive.
The room was nice, clean, and stocked. Elevators were quick, just have to tap your room key then tap the floor number.
They have valet over night which was fantastic as I did not have to worry about my car.
No complaints, only compliments to this team. Thank you Motto!

I stayed at this hotel in June 2024, and my experience was mixed, with both positive and negative aspects. The view was incredible—it was the first time I had such a breathtaking panorama. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed, and the cleanliness was well maintained. I also found the Hilton app very useful for making requests to the front desk. However, there were some downsides. The front desk staff was not particularly welcoming. The housekeeping staff and engineers used the same elevators as guests, leading to frequent stops; instead of just one stop to my floor, I had to endure five extra stops due to staff needs. Noise was another major issue—the air conditioning made a loud noise, making it almost impossible to use at night. Additionally, the soundproofing was poor, even in corner rooms, and a gap of several centimeters under the door let in noise from the corridor and elevators. For these reasons, I rated my stay 3/5.

I stayed in one of the "Landmark City View" rooms on the 27th floor. The room was pretty small but was very well laid out, and the view was exactly what I was hoping for. The ability to control the room lights from the TV was super cool, though I couldn't get the controls in the app to work. I ordered room service on my first night and while it was pretty expensive, I don't think it was unreasonable and it arrived quickly and tasted great.

The front desk staff was all friendly, and they have a good system for storing luggage ahead of check-in. The location is excellent with multiple subway entrances nearby.

There was some weirdness like the $5 water bottles in the room that are actually included in the room cost (explained by the front desk during check in but still strange to me), but overall a great experience.

I chose the 20th floor, but Marissa helped me get in early and picked a better room for me before I arrived because we did the chat. I love Hilton properties that communicate through the chat. Shows they are a cut above. She was extremely helpful. I really liked the vibe at this Hilton property. I was very satisfied with the room and accommodations. I would definitely stay here again.
