As usual the Executive Lounge is the highlight of this place. Sharon and the entire team there give us the best welcome every day. We also had very good experiences with the front desk and concierge who were all very helpful. ||The downside on this stay was the state of the room and several days of stained towels. The room had something stuck to the ceiling hanging above the bed. Not very nice. Despite mentioning it to the manager, it was never removed nor cleaned. ||Separately, for the first four days of our stay we had ‘fresh’ towels with blood and other stains on them. ||In response to these issues, the manager told us that the hotel is being renovated. That was not the issue. There just needs to be some basic cleaning issues fixed. If it wasn’t for the Executive Lounge team, we would stay elsewhere.

We stayed at The Hilton Midtown for 5 nights to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday and can I just say WOW!!! at check in they upgraded my daughters room and also upgraded her and all of us to breakfast in the executive suite for free! Not only that but on my daughters birthday they put a gorgeous cake in her roomand a letter wishing her happy birthday! Photo attached! Concierge were fantastic and delivered balloons to my room that I'd ordered! I was just blown away and massive shout out to Serena and Caroline who made my daughters 18th birthday one to remember! I can't thank you enough!||The rooms are lovely, clean and very comfortable! The location is spot on and near Times Square. Honestly wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone! It's just perfect!||A big thank you from Selina and Lillie x

This was perhaps among the worst hotel stays I have ever had! This experience makes me want to avoid ever staying in a Hilton property again!||||I was pressured into attending a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare sales presentation which, once I was there, seemed impossible to get out of. I told them I wasn't interested in buying a timeshare; it's simply not in my budget and it's not something I am interested in pursuing at this time. And yet they just kept pushing. I understand that they are salespeople who are trying to make a living, but I did NOT appreciate obnoxious comments like "well we're offering you a great deal but I guess it's your choice if you want to throw away your money!" I did NOT appreciate being told that "your salesman has a wife and children to support... don't you care about him? or do you want him to suffer?" I feel truly violated that I was forced to sit there and listen to this, and I was told that "oh no, you can't leave yet... you're committed to a 90-minute presentation!" ||||Apart from the ridiculousness of the sales presentation, I was also placed into an out-of-service room which was partially under construction. The cabinets and closet were partially disassembled, and there were unpainted patches on the walls. I was so tired when I got to my room on the first night, but I called the front desk and explained the situation. They agreed to move me to a new room, as they should have, but it was nearly midnight so I said that I would fall asleep now and move in the morning. I was politely told that yes, that would be fine, and the receptionist thanked me for my flexibility and understanding. ||||Yet half an hour later... well after midnight... there was a vigorous knock at the door from a different staff member who had come to move me to my new room. I explained how I was tired, I was asleep, and that I would move in the morning as agreed. The staff member seemed totally uninformed of what was going on. ||||I was only at this place for two nights, and yet it was miserable. I don't ever want to stay at another Hilton, and NO -- I do NOT want to buy a timeshare with Hilton Grand Vacations. It's a very firm NO from me.

A terrific service experience with the front desk, Terrance. ||After a long, delayed flight, checking in close to midnight (a day after the insurance executive event), Terrance provided an efficient and seamless check-in experience, recommended a few places for a late night bite (Halal guys and couple others), a room upgrade, and a pleasant exchange to prepare me for an early business meeting.||It's a difficult job and especially in NYC - Terrance exemplified customer service at its finest. Thanks to management in advance for recognizing him.

BASIC hotel. Unhelpful and occasionally rude staff. You will get the basics and that’s all. But you are paying for more than that.||I came with my daughters for spring break. The location was good to get around to places we wanted to see. But staff was overwhelmingly unfriendly.||To start, we ordered the breakfast option for 3 days of stay. On arrival they gave us breakfast tickets for one day only. Once I realized this, I was ping ponged for an hour between staff members who kept telling me “go do this” “go ask him this and come back.” Took an hour of back and forth to retrieve breakfast tickets that I rightfully paid for.||I asked for late check out. One staff member said to call at 7 am to request it, as it is first come first serve. I set my alarm for 7. When I called at 7, they said call back at 8. Lol. I ruined my sleep the last morning due to their carelessness. ||Beds are uncomfortable and rooms smell moldy. No drinking water in the rooms, no coffee maker.||However, staff happily demanded tips and gratuities for crappy hospitality service. ||My experience here represents the worst of American hospitality - paying for one thing and complacency of people to take what they haven’t earned thinking they are entitled to by just showing up to work.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the metro, we don't waste time on transport. The services are good, the breakfast is very qualitative. The price in partnership with British airways is definitely worth it.
There is this destination tax, which remains unclear. But to understand clearly, the hotel takes a deposit of $600 and at the end of the stay it withdraws $35 per night. You should know that this $35 is a credit that you can use and that I advise you to use every day to buy drinks or food in the hotel. You are also entitled to a cumulative $25 credit for dry cleaning, be careful because at the end of the stay, the hotel billed us for dry cleaning. We let them know, and the refund was subsequently made. So before you go, check the rating carefully. In clear the hotel asks $600 - ($35 per night)

Concierges are outstanding and worked to customize our multiple rooms stay. They made sure the the rooms were on the same floor, the baby crib was made available when needed and the nanny was respected. The owners lounge made cookies, and fruit available. The breakfasts and cocktail/ hors d' oeuvers were varied nightly, plentiful and perfect to satiate our hunger before going to the theater.

A fantastic hotel for exploring New York in COMFORT. As a Hilton goes, they work the hotel well for it being so central. |Sharon (Exec lounge concierge) is a warming welcome each day! She’s made herself apart of our journey here. ||Rooms are spacious and all amenities work well.
