This place is shady. I get the same items weekly and have noticed over the last few weeks they charge me different prices each time, when I question it they give bogus answers. It’s sad because it’s in my neighborhood and I want to support local but yesterday I was chased and yelled to pay for my groceries after checking out with another clerk. They price gauge often, Taro chips are 7.99 there and $3.79 at Whole Foods. I recently had to reach out to a supplier of theirs for frozen dumplings and they were appalled by my receipt of the price paid. Do not support this store

I was overcharged $11 for 1lb of grapes today. It should have been $3, and the cashier seemed to assume I wouldn’t notice this error. The other products were all around $2-3. Please refund me as soon as possible. While I was selecting the food, the cashier stared at me as if I were going to steal something, likely because of my race, since there were several white shoppers at the same time. Avoid this place at all costs.

Not sure if it was intentional, but today the woman at the cashier shortchanged me $5 when I was paying cash. I told her that she shortchanged me, and she started to yell and argue with me. She accused me of trying to cheat her and said that young people these days do that. There is a camera pointing at the cashier, and I asked her to review the footage to confirm or if I could speak to her manager. She refused and said it wasn’t possible and no manager was there. It was a very unpleasant experience.

The manager followed me around the store for 10 minutes. I’m guessing she assumed i was stealing. There was a couple and another man in the store all of a particular race that were able to shop without feeling targeted. I purchased my goods and will never buy anything from this market again.
