First time visiting the store, and while it looked great and exciting, my experience was disappointing. I purchased two bakery items – the yuca cake and the guava cake. When I opened the container, the yuca cake was covered in mold. Thankfully, I checked carefully before serving it to my kids.

When I returned to the store to address the issue, the staff questioned if I had left it in a hot place, despite me buying it at 7:30 PM the night before and noticing the mold shortly after getting home. Their apology felt insincere, and they didn’t seem particularly concerned. While they offered me a freshly baked cake as a replacement, I now feel uneasy about the quality of their bakery items if they aren’t regularly checking for mold. It’s not just about mistakes happening; good customer service should handle such situations better.

Update Oct 5th. This is the newly baked ones supposedly. This is just unbelievable. I sliced the cakes and my kids and I ate a few pieces and kept the rest is the fridge. I took it out this morning and look at the green spots. I wouldn’t eat anything from the bakery. Not sure who will end up sick

Just went there. I don’t know if it was an off day but the coxinha was terrible, no pastel nothing good. They served me cold ,soggy and old salgadinho. I hope they keep high quality like when they first opened because they really disappointed me this time.

Update: I gave another shot and it’s the worst food I have ever ate everything taste old and disgusting

A great place to find all the Brazilian comforts that you missed from Brazil. Most of the brands are familiar with and a super friendly staff. We love it when we go there all the time for my Brazilian wife.
