I go out of my way (and pass another Italian specialty store) to come to Primavera - I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I've purchased all kinds of food - sandwiches, cold cuts, italian bread, chicken, meat, etc. and it's been great every time. All of the guys have helped me at one point or another during my many visits and I don't have a negative thing to say about them - always friendly and professional. And no matter the circumstances, like a line out the door - they always greet you and serve you with a smile on their face and shoot the shit with you.

I mainly come here to get sandwiches. Everything is always extremely fresh and tasty. The bread had the perfect amount of crunch while still retaining softness. All the salads are freshly prepared. This is a well known place and it’s not hard to see why. Will be returning again

Primavera Italian Specialties is my go to place for cold cuts, incredible homemade fresh mozzarella, specialty hero, homemade sausage and the tender prime steaks. The place is spotless with the a friendly, courteous staff. This family ran business has been in this neighborhood since 1986. I highly recommend their prepared foods as well. Pictured below is the Neapolitan Hero (my favorite). Give them a try.

All the food is amazing! From soups to meats to catering, perfection! Long time customer for over 30 years and never had problem. Quality food and fair pricing. Family run and wonderful people to deal with. The Primavera family treats everyone like family!

This was my first time using Primavera’s catering service. I was very impressed with the friendly customer service and their helpful suggestions. When my daughter’s senior graduation party day came, Primavera didn’t disappoint. They were on-time (even slightly earlier), set everything up and double checked to make sure we had everything we had anticipated. The food was very tasty and our guests had all positive comments about it as well. I would definitely recommend Primavera Italian Specialties!

Absolutely love this place. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The establishment is very clean,and the products are top notch. They treat you like family. The food is delicious, and the meats are always fresh. Definitely worthwhile. Money always well spent.

Place is absolute trash. Called 24 hours before my daughter’s second birthday party to postpone my catering order because my family came down with Covid. Told me the hero was already sliced the night before (disgusting) and I couldn’t switch it to the following weekend. When I told them me and my two year old were sick with Covid the guy on the phone turns around and says “yeah so is the rest of Nassau County.” THEN, when I arrive to pick it up (while fighting Covid) the owner’s son dumps 7 feet of hero (on two separate boards) and a box with 7lbs of salads on the counter for myself, who is a petite 5ft girl, to carry out alone. This is my first and obviously last time dealing with this place. Do yourself a favor and cater with a classy place like Salpinos or Ivarone who employ gentlemen who treat their customers with respect.
