The beer was great!! Offered a wonderful selection of styles for every palate. Tried the sampler, and really liked the Porter and State 11 IPA. Ended up getting a growler filled up of the State 11. When we went on Saturday there was a decent crowd for being opened for only a few weeks. They had corn-hole set up out front and played a few games as well.
It is in an industrial park, but easy to get to and find. Parking wasn't an issue when we went in Saturday. Currently they cannot sell any food but did have pretzels and other snacks that were free to munch on during our visit. I brought my dog which was very appreciative and he was welcomed by the brewer and the other patrons throughout our visit. The beer was so good, we ended up staying longer than we had thought and was able to order pizza to the brewery. Overall, the beer was great, and I would highly recommend a visit. When I'm back in Long Island, I will definitely stop by for another refill.

A local brewery that is just starting up. Very small batch beer that is off to a good start. Tasting room and brewery are in the same room which is pretty cool. Seats would be a welcome addition as for now it's standing only. Check it out and support the cause.

Barnshed Brewing is a cozy little down and dirty brewery in Hicksville. We visited them on a busy trivia night, and the place was packed! We stuck around for a flight and were pleasantly surprised by their jalapeño beer. Unfortunately, I think the beer may have been a limited run, but I hope they brew it again! It's not often we get to taste the perfect amount of spice to beer ratio.

Very good atmosphere, small in size but didn't feel like it. I liked the industrial look and feel of the place and can fit a good amount of people comfortably. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. A good amount of beer selections (12) to choose from their own brand. Styles were limited but none the less a good selection including a nitro. Beers were okay... Nothing horrible but nothing that stood out. Would recommend for a person close by or who's getting tired of the usual or wants to check a box.

My wife read on Facebook about a lobster truck at the address so we went there for take out. Waiting for my food there are people sitting outside at tables drinking tap beer wondering where did they get it. Notice a industrial door open and peak in to my amazement a small brewery and tap bar inside. I had to sit down and have a beer it was really good , great bartender answered all my questions and we really loved the place it's unique in its own way. Nothing fancy just good tap beer.
