People need food year-round please help them donate. If you drive around back they'll take your donation. Imagine in these Economic Times not being able to send your children to school with a healthy breakfast or your husband out to work with a packed lunch.

Island harvest helps fight hunger in Long Island.
They make it easy for donors and for people doing food drives for school also. Northwell health is using them for their food drive that helped me get comfortable.

So when we wanted to organize a holiday food drive, island harvest was an easy choice, they had both physical and virtual food drive options. We ended up creating a virtual food drive with them using yougivegoods.com. This way the food gets shipped directly to the island harvest from the yougivegoods and helps maintain safe social distance for all involved.

Great if you or your kids want to do a drive for community service credit.
