I love my little Castle. It’s very communal. Nice price and it has laundry rooms; although they maybe in the basement, it allows for nice and quiet laundry days which allows for you to reflect.

Be aware there are roaches, but get you some Advion and it will get rid of them. It’s located in the heart off of NewKirk Ave, near great stores, a park, basketball courts, water spot and a lot of open space for dogs and taking a nice walks. Plenty of police and security.

The maintenance people ( men AND women) are very dedicated to their jobs, and go above and Beyond. They’ve completed work so fast, I didn’t even have time to put in a service report or they put them in for you.

The front desk lady, is so patient diligent and kind to me. She very aware of the rules and regulations and makes sure you are as well. They are updating building security so residents feel safe. So if you want to live in a neighborhood around hardworking, inspiring , people who have strong sense of family heritage and community, with people of many cultures , and want to get away from all the fluff and be able to be yourself, I would recommend you move in and start your own little casts, Today!

THERE IS A RESIDENT IN 1372 APT 4B THAT HAS BEEN A MENACE FOR MONTHS. MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO INTERVENE, OUR SAFTEY IS IN JEOPARDY EVERYDAY AND THIS IS UNFAIR. THERE IS ALWAYS DRUG ADDICTS TRAFFICKING TO THAT APT. THERE IS ALWAYS NOISE ON THAT FLOOR COMING FROM THAT APARTMENT. ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT. NYPD IS ALSO THERE OFTEN. THIS IS NOT FAIR !!

This place is disgusting they put up new windows in hallway that cannot open which makes the hallway very hot and smelly the basement is consistently flooding of feces and urine. The front Courtyard is demolished and hasn't been fixed in months. dirty bed bug infested mattresses sitting in the hallway for 3 days now main office never answers maintenance never answers they don't set appointments they just show up whenever they want if they show up. Please do not rent here you will regret!!

All repair request ignored. Must take to housing court to address any issue. Will show renovated apartment and you sign a lease for a run down apartment in another building.

The apartment was renovated however. You could tell it was done on a budget. The tiles behind my toilet wasn't finished and instead a tile was Placed on the wall and not fixed properly. The sink has a huge hole where the pipes are leading into the wall that we only realized after we were putting toiletries under there. The knobs don't match however they were close enough for us not to notice. The heat works well in our rooms but not the livingroom and not the bathroom. The hot water does not work in the shower. And the tub has been clogging since we moved in. We call for repairs and it takes them hours to get back to us. The upstairs neighbors sound like there's 30 people running around with their dogs. I am definitely not renewing the lease and I would tell everyone I know to never rent from here. The one good thing is the apartment is a very good size and price.

I hate this place so much.Roaches and rats everywhere, they go in ur apartments they’re in the basement where you do laundry it’s simply disgusting it’s a hotel for them you also got mold everywhere no matter how well you clean your apartment . Plus you got a terrible neighborhood. Teens getting drunk and smoking all over the place and if your really lucky they would go into your apartment hallway, stairs and smoke there. You also can’t forget the bums who stay around the corners ALL DAY. It’s all a hell hole.

The most miserable place to live in Brooklyn. The hallway cameras do not work - the roof locks do not work - the basement door is always open. Whenever you call security, management or maintenance no one answers. They only respond when you threaten them with legal action and when they do it is to tell you that they are not responsible for damage to your property. DONT BE FOOLED - negligence makes them liable. These people are extremely unprofessional and sneaky. They will send a half dozen maintenance worker to look at your unit and take measurements and then do absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Do not sign anything because they will claim the work is done. It doesn’t matter if you speak to Arneice, Tiffany or the owner himself! They all give you the run around. The office hours are horrible with a 3 hour closing in the middle of the day and they don’t even do anything the hours that they do work. They only care about what extra fees they can impose on you. Contact HPD and record all your interactions- you’ll need it for court.

My aunt lives here and they do not care for their tenants or their apartments at all ! They sent workers to re paint her room, AND THEY STOLE FROM HER (including it’s worth over $1k). She has proof (as well as video) that they stole and they agreed to repay her. That was in December and it is now March, and they are refusing to pay now. Very shady people and very shady management ! This is not the first time workers have stolen from apartments they go to do work on
