Bought about 4 lbs of Gianelli sausage for holiday. I made sausage balls and discovered a bunch or hard tough small pieces or rubbery fat in them…quality was poor! I hate to think of what my lasagna will taste like on Xmas eve.

I went to Costco and Bjs in Syracuse NY to find that neither store carried the turkey sausage. I was told by a butcher that the turkey sausage was discontinued. I hope that's not true since apart of my visit to central NY is to visit family and purchase a few large packs of sausage. Was the butcher correct? If not, how may I purchase this product.

Gianelli Italian Sausage is the BEST we have ever had ! It doesn't shrink when pre-boiled ( not a lot of grease) fantastic flavor (mild) .The one and only we'll buy !!!!!!

An older employee (having higher expectations for older people) had the nerve to put in his personal opinion about my service dog. I was at Italian Fest trying to enjoy lunch when the gentleman (kindly restricting his name) made it a point to harass me about how my service dog should not be out there (surrounded by many people at that).

It was embarrassing to say the least and because his "friend is a veterinarian" he thought he knew what was best for my service dog. Even after telling him he is a service dog (he was harnessed with ID) he still continued rant and I had to walk away

I went back to get his name and he went on again and he told me "I better not make this issue any bigger". I told him I was going to complain and he told me that "I look like that type of guy" . I do have a video and I will post the link after I upload it

I am vegetarian and don't have anything against anyone's right to eat meat. But I do have something against Companies who use trucks that pollute excessively. I have encountered a Gianelli Sausage truck (from N. Syracuse) passing through Seneca Falls two times. Each time I could smell it from about a mile away. Once I caught up to it I could see the smog surrounding this delivery truck and could barely breath in my car. Backed off about 1/4 mile and the smell was still unbearable. Every time the truck stopped and started moving again, it was engulfed in a cloud of smoke. So maybe they make good sausages, but if they have been operating since 1946, you think they could afford a new, less polluting delivery truck or fix the problem. Eat what you will, but don't pollute the air we all breath.
