I don’t know what’s worse—the service, the lack of accountability, or the fact that they genuinely don’t seem to care. I went in expecting a simple, professional experience, but instead, I left frustrated beyond belief.

First, they completely botched my dog’s grooming. Not just a little off—a disaster. I gave clear instructions, yet somehow, they managed to do the exact opposite. But fine, mistakes happen. What shouldn’t happen? Zero ownership. When I pointed out the issue, I got a half-hearted, “Oh well, that happens.” No apology, no attempt to make it right—just indifference.

To top it off, the attitude from the staff made me feel like I was inconveniencing them for expecting basic competence. I didn’t come here for a gamble; I came here for professionals who know what they’re doing. Clearly, I was mistaken. Never again.

I’ve been a customer with Farmingville Feed for approximately 6 months. I use them to get my mini-dachshund groomed every few months. I have always been comfortable with each grooming session, and have always been pleased with how my pup looks. Laurie is friendly, attentive, and always handles my dog with care. Laurie’s grooming is always done efficiently, and my pup looks adorable and smells amazing every time! Overall, I would highly recommend Farmingville Feed to anyone in need of a professional pet grooming service that is reliable and top-notch!

Very happy with the grooming services, everyone is so kind to my pup and he's just adorable when I pick him up. Love that he is not there all day, he's always done within an hour and a half.

Don’t ever take your dog here for grooming. I just brought my dog here to get groomed and we get him back completely shaved with his nail bleeding non stop. When Michelle was asked why they cut his hair so short she responded with “it’s not my fault you guys don’t keep up with him properly”. On top off all of that his face haircut is choppy and looks like it was done by a kid. Ridiculous customer service and rude workers. This place should honestly be shut down, they’re working in unsanitary conditions. You sent me home with my dogs nail bleeding with nothing on it to cover it. STAY AWAY!! For more context prior to the appointment I combed my dog to make sure he didn’t have any matting or knots. They did this for quick money and didn’t even try to give him a nice haircut.

This was my first time taking my 2 portuguese water pups to be groomed. One of them bit the groomer a number of times, and she still showed patience and kindness, and did an amazing job with them. They look perfect, and did exactly what I wanted. Ashli, at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and kind, and gave me great advice. The owners are some of the best and nicest people I've ever met. I highly recommend this place
