super cute and barista was extremely sweet and nice! the iced oat milk latte was perfect and the lamb and feta hand pie super yummy 🙂 i always love quaint little places like this. super cozy and good vibes here~

Went here during the off season and came in twice in the same day for lattes as they were the only place open. The lattes were phenomenal and the new barista Isabella is wonderful! Got to chat with the new owner as well and she was lovely. We also ordered soup and my husband had the breakfast pie and loved it. The Mac n cheese we had was pretty bland and the soup wasn’t anything crazy with only a couple carrots on the side so I would stick to their meat and breakfast pies and lattes. They nail those!

Getting off the ferry from Vermont lands you in the cute little historic town of Essex NY. It’s a small one road town and right near the center you’ll find a delicious little ice cream shop, with about 10 flavors and shelves overflowing with local jams and honeys. Well worth the stop for a vanilla ice cream and sit on the porch and let the slow hot summer days melt away. Only one person works there so be prepared to wait, well worth it.

A beautiful little shop with very good non-dairy iced lattes. I can’t exactly remember, but I think I got oat milk, not soy. Also had a non-dairy ice cream/gelato that was delicious. The server was very kind and pleasant. Highly recommended.

Reading about the lady who was extremely rude to people a few years back makes me think she moved on to managing a mining crew instead of serving ice cream. The gentleman who served us was tremendously generous, genuinely loved to serve us and explain the flavors.. my kid loved it.. we all loved it.

The tomato soup and corn chowder were delicious. The pork, apricot and ginger handpie was the BEST handpie I have ever had. Great service and cozy space. Will certainly be stopping before and after the ferry.

What a great experience it was! We’ve got greated by the sweetest and generous person… I forgot to ask his name but he was so gentle. This is such a great spot to go just by the Essex Ferry in direction of Vermont. And this is so charming!
