I am very dissatisfied with the service that our community, The Van Wyck Mews, receive from Associa. Our community is being neglected. Promises have not been upheld, but fees keep going up. When I phone the office, Miranda never responses back and never handles the issues. We have overgrown weeds, grass that is not properly cut, no seed planted for new grass or flowers, property has NEVER been power washed, a promised speed bump has not been installed, hallways were suppose to be painted, dead trees and bushes not removed, and overgrown bushes are not maintained by trimming and pruning. Additionally, we were informed that the pool needed repairs which would required each household to pay $300. So again, HOA fees went up, but pool was never fixed. We were told indirectly that the deadline was missed.
If Associa is suppose to handle the day-to-day management of the property, shouldn’t they be present on the property at some point each week? Many homeowners have voiced their concerns to Associa about the landscaping company last year, but they still renewed the contract with the same company. This just proves that the community’s concerns are completely ignored. Furthermore, Associa only remotely manages their communities all the while continually making false promises, but raising HOA fees. Maybe Associa needs to hire a management company to train their employees of ways to actually manage a community.

******I just read the response to my post. I find it very interesting that I am able to receive a quick response to my review. However when I phone the office that you indicated in your extremely long response, I get sent to voicemail and never receive a call back. Additionally, the one time I actually was able to speak to Miranda I was informed that she has many communities and my was not the only one; basically implying that my concerns are not that important.

As for concerns being addressed about the landscaping, that is the furthest thing from the truth. I have weeds at least 12 inches high outside my unit. The gentlemen that laid down the mulch did so right on top of the weeds. Whenever the lawn is cut, all the weeds remain and the grass is still too high. Additionally, we have 3 bushes that are reaching the 2nd floor window. We were told that the hallways after 8 years were going to be painted, and only the molding was actually painted. Does that even make sense? As for the pool, clearly your response indicates poor planning on the management company. You should have been aware of this process, or is this the first pool you are repairing, if not then you should have planned properly for that timeframe. Instead again you so kindly demonstrated the lack of experience Associa possesses. All these problems, if they were actually addressed would not continue to be an issue. But again, Associa, pretending to take care of the issue and not really handling anything.

The absolute worst. My husband and I have called so many times about the siding falling off our 6 year old home and still no response. The property manager, Nanci Patrick asked for pictures in an email. I sent the pictures and she has done absolutely nothing! No communication at all after the pictures were sent to her! No one has returned our calls and the siding is still hanging weeks later. I also reached out to her back in June about the dead trees in front of my home and she said someone will come and look at them. Guess what? Nothing has been done. It’s now September and we have not heard anything . She has done absolutely nothing to help us.

Associa has managed our community, River Ridge at Hyde Park, for the past couple of years, but our site manager has only been with us for one year; however, she is the BEST. She checks in multiple times daily, she always returns phone calls promptly, and because she knows many contractors, she has saved our development a lot of money. Lisa is always available and friendly, and she works very hard on our behalf. She is far and away the best site manager we've had, and she's a big reason we will keep Associa as our management company.

We have been utilizing Associa Oriperty Management for almost a year now. Our property manager, Cristina Ambrose is very professional while at the same time being cordial, happy and welcoming. Every one at Wildflowers have good things to say about Cristina.

I wanted to do a second review for Stephanie Shultis, our Activities Director.
She is fantastic. Always coming up with new ideas and keeping the community aware of events around us. Stephanie is truly loved by all members of the community.

Christina ( Associa N.Y.) Is an excellent Property manager. She performs all of her responsibilities relating to financial and administrative management of Wildflower. In addition, she is excellent at resolving any conflicts and determining a solution due to her mediation skills and creative problem solving abilities. Resident concerns or requests are always met and resolved. In my opinion, Christina is the best property manager in Wildflower and any other community where I was previously a resident.
