Go 50 Front Apartments or Indian Ridge instead. I dont know which happened more: the pipes freezing, breaking, and/or an appliances breaking and you paying for the damage. The admin team is dedicated to making you leave for move out/broken lease fees. Everything is held together with bandaids and when it breaks it will be fixed with replacements that are so old I would think I am back in the 70s.

There are hidden fees everywhere: do you live on the ground floor -> prepare for water damage, do you use a car -> nails falling off everywhere for your tires, moving out -> think AirBnB levels of hidden fees, cooking -> prepare for smoke detectors that will go off when normally using the over, and turn on the A/C -> collinder level insulation. I will end it on the worst of all the damn hard water. The hard water is so bad that you MUST use CLR or your toilet will look worse than concert portapotties. Also everything the water touches will rust so prepare to pay for that. Get renters insurance and only plan to stay at max 3 months, there is not enough competition for Scammit Chase to improve.

I would not recommend leasing here to anybody. They are not honest or transparent in the process at all. Require a $300 deposit just to be on a waitlist. The waitlist is typically 6 months longer than they tell you and then will just keep telling you the next month after that. Then when they offer you a unit they will not give you any information on the unit but will expect you to commit to a year with no information and expect first month deposit right then and there. They will tell you to send the deposit when you can but then without giving you a deadline or timeline or any notice of rescinding an offer will rescind an offer right after if the deposit isn’t in after making you wait on a wait list for over 6 months. Poor communication from Nicole the leasing manager there and bad business, would recommend any other property management that isn’t under this ownership.

I would never recommend this place. The management on trying to get a place is absolutely ridiculous. They string you along from months and then don’t let you see the place before the move in date, so unless you have money to pay rent in two places don’t bother or you’ll be homeless before moving in. Because we could not see the place beforehand… it does not fit our needs but we had to take it because we would’ve been homeless since of move in date was middle of the month. This place is run awfully and i would never recommend it.

Even though we meet the income requirements, they will not rent to us because there is no marital status. We have good rental history, always pay rent on time, and are always respectful towards other tenants. But we're not allowed to rent here because there is no marital status. Seems discriminatory.

They are located just outside of the city right across the street from a nice park. The apartments are clean and up to date. They are very proactive with repairs and keeping everything looking clean. It's one of those places where they are trying to improve and be relevant. A lot of younger people live here with a few older people spotted around. The pool is sufficient. I recommend it based on the good value.

Do NOT even apply here. They will waste your time and money. I put a deposit down monthss ago. They told me a move in date. Then I call for an update a month later and they tell me a later date. Then I call again another month later and they say they have no estimated move in date at all now. Then I email again another month later and they tell me they already leased out for the summer. Mind you i already put a deposit down. Worse place ever. Don't waste your time or money !!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

First of all, if you're looking for a quiet apartment life, this is not it. The walls are paper thin and I can hear my neighbors conversations, sex life and bathroom habits (this is any apartment that is above or below me.) Also, I'm glad I don't have kids because when I get home from work, my next door neighbor screams the work "f%@k" in every other sentence. Also, there is supposed to be a 40 lb weight limit on dogs but the tenant two doors down has a good sized pit bull - that has come after me once when I was taking the trash out. Two other tenants have labs and a rottweiler.

Also, if you have to get up early in the am, don't count on your neighbors being quiet after 10 or 11 at night - they will stomp, slam doors, have their tv and music turned up and their dogs bark as well (this goes on until 3 am). Don't bother calling management, you will seriously be wasting your breath.

One last thing - the parking lots. The complex is not flat - in fact the apartments sit up on a steep hill. This makes it treacherous in icy conditions and there are pot holes galore. The management sent an email stating that their maintenance crews start salting / plowing at 6 am, so if you have a very early shift or get home early in the am- be really careful.

The website makes this place look like a beautiful resort but if you come and see first hand, you'll see rotted boards on the decks, ripped and stained carpets on the stairways, and non existent parking spots. Do yourself a favor and look at other options. Too much money for not that great of a place.

My experience with Summit Chase was very disappointing! I was looking for an apartment to rent, and I saw advertisements for their apartments on almost every rental app and website. So, I reached out to the place and they asked me to fill out an application. I don't understand why they did not inform me from the beginning that they did not have any available place for the next few months. Because I was seeing their advertisements everywhere, I assumed that they had available apartments. So, after filling out a long application, and giving all of our (me and my fiance's) personal information such as SSN, they told us that we are approved to go to a waiting list!!! They did not call us until a few months later when we no longer needed an apartment. So, my advice is that do not waste your time with this place. The way they treat people is awful!
