Ambrosia Meals is a fantastic company - I've been a customer for ~1 year and will remain so for as long as I am in NYC. If you're even thinking about using this company—don’t. There are far too many reputable prepared food services out there to waste your time or money here. The food is genuinely awful, and speaking with Lexi,who I can only assume is either the customer service rep or, frighteningly, the owner, was a masterclass in how not to handle a complaint. She was dismissive, lacked even the most basic problem-solving skills, and made it painfully clear that customer satisfaction is nowhere on their priority list. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away

This company is amazing! My partner and I have trouble finding time to cook at home during the week and we end up ordering out a lot. Ambrosia Meals is our saving grace - the food freezes easily and heats up in just a few minutes. So many of the meal delivery services are mass produced/packages and don't taste great, but Ambrosia meals are so good, even when they've been frozen and thawed. The founder, Lexi, is super helpful in providing the macros, which makes it easy for us to stay on track. These meals are worth every penny!

Ive been a signature meal prep/a La carte customer for about a month with instant results. My original correspondence with Lexi gave me a lot of confidence there would be high touch service and there is. She can immediately differentiate the product vs others in the space that are toxic and obscure the facts. I have my own dietician but her knowledge is apparent in the menu design. The food is very high quality and lasts Tuesday evening through Sunday for me. Nutrition is 80% of the battle especially with weight loss - don’t kid yourself. This service makes accomplishing your goals that much easier. For me it’s a no brainer to achieve a caloric deficit and supplement with other healthy snacks.

Delicious healthy, organic and whole food focused meals! Great option for those in NYC or nearby areas looking for a healthy meal service. Lexi, the founder, is incredibly kind and always responsive at providing any information on meals, delivery or general questions. Great company with a great mission to provide healthy meal prep!

Mostly good food but not enough of a variety...easy to get sick of after a month or two. Turkey is always dry. Not fond of the packaging. They take it back and say they reuse it but it's disposable plastic that would leach microplastics into the food if that's the case. If sent to recycling center, then it surely gets trashed as do such containers in NY. Also I received one meal that went bad in my fridge after only three days and was told it's not always in cooler during delivery and that I should freeze everything which is not practical. That being said, they did refund me for the spoiled meal and I received great customer service in general, very responsive to questions/needs.

Love LOVE Ambrosia meals! The food is so healthy, very tasty and I love finding great organic, wild caught and/or grass fed meal items to choose from. It's a great feeling to know your meal is healthier than most any restaurant order options. I feel so much better knowing I can put my money into healthy tasty meals that have quality ingredients and are super quick and easy to warm up. Thanks very much Ambrosia!
