Placed an order, and after 2 weeks of no updates and no response to our emails, we found a number to call, and the guy said he would investigate. Then we got a text from Damian that they franchised their deliveries, and the original order was crushed and needs to be re-done. 1 week later, we got a text that our order had been delivered to our front door. The box had no ice or insulation. Most of the order was vacuumed sealed and still frozen, but we also ordered deli meat. It came open, unsealed, freezer burned, and most definitely cross contaminated.

I haven't tried the sealed meat yet but the immediate first impression is very troubling.

Edit: responding to the business' comment below. It's poor customer service to offer a product and then blame the customer and your distributor. It's your brand, you own the poor experience you chose to provide. I shouldn't have to keep calling YOU'RE distributor for a product that I paid You for. The fact that the food came contaminated and exposed speaks on you're brand quality.

I reached out to inquire about their wholesale pricing for businesses. I was left on read and had to double message. Eventually no one responded. Waste of time

Edit: Why are you lying? No one told me to reach out to anyone. I was asked for my business information and what I needed which I responded to. Why would I continue to message after being given direction to contact a different department? Lol

Every month I place my order of meats, for me and my family, I am a person who likes good quality in all things.These meats are the best I have tasted in years, the flavor and texture are incomparable, the hamburgers.They are incredibly delicious, easy and quick to prepare. Damian, the person in charge of delivering my order is very friendly and respectful.we are very grateful for the excellent quality of each of the products.

purchased several steak and chicken items from here over the past year and I really enjoy how thorough everything is. this isn’t like buying meat at a normal market, or a butcher shop, right away you can see, feel, and taste the difference. after i switched from buying meat at wholefoods or my local butcher, my girls really started to compliment my cooking and notice a better health difference. can’t recommend them enough 🙏

Hal&Al has the best selection of quality meats not to mention the most variety of halal meat offerings. They’re constantly putting out new products to try so I’ve never been bored. My favorites are their chicken franks, jalapeño and cheddar cheese chicken sausage, and shaved steak. They provide neat and fast shipping, sometimes same day!

I’ve been seeing people trying to hate on this meat company for a while after trying one item that was bad. All I want to say I’ve had nothing but a good experience. I’ve joined since they started their monthly subscription just because meat has gotten very expensive in Astoria so I save money and it’s of good quality. I’ve tried about almost all items-salmon, 3 of their steaks, beef stew, chicken, beef patties and ground beef. The taste, the color, smell and texture 🤌🏻 Compared to other products I’ve had where who knows how long it’s been sitting on the shel- slime, gray color, or odor of spoilt. Also they delivered to my front door and reach out to see what time is good so the meat doesn’t defrost. My mom had one so-so experience about delivery and someone called her and fixed it and even threw in a free steak for her inconvenience. I’ve never had a company reach out to me and fix any of my problems or complaints I ever had, it makes me feel valued and I know I’m getting quality meat. It’s a win-win; so here’s a honest review for someone whose tried various products and has been a customer for a few months now-reaching a year.

I've had nothing short of an amazing experience with this company. I requested beef back ribs which are extremely hard to find and these guys went to great lengths to obtain them for me. Customer service is top notch. It's such a blessing having distributer of fine halal meats so close to home. If you need short ribs, ribeye steaks, filet, briskets, burger meat, bacon, organic chicken or anything halal meat related this place is the best.
