As a resident of Elma I would like to know who made the decision to place the early voting location at the Elma Senior Center inside of the small storage room or what may be referred to as the arts and crafts room. Today started the early voting for the 2024 presidential race. The lines were long at 9 AM and continued like that all morning. There was only one door to enter, and you entered into the area of a long line of people waiting to vote. Once inside the small room, you had four workers doing their best to keep up. They were frazzled and understandably so. We witnessed people trying to find some privacy to sit and then when they were casting their vote through the machine, you had everyone in line at the doorway watching them. Many in line were angry that the main room at the senior center was not utilized this weekend. The dedicated early voting poll workers said they had no choice and were told that the senior center refused to allow them to set up in the large area. I even overheard a poll worker say she was afraid she would get sick with so many people coming in and out without windows, or ventilation.
Elma , please do better. Your taxpayers deserve better !

Went here for my marriage license as Cheektowaga gave us a hard time. The females at the town clerks office were very friendly and helped us right away. 10/10 service.

Town officials don’t have the decency to call back the people who live in their town, and this would be the tax paying people who pay their salary. I don’t even want to give them one star but zero star wasn’t an option.
