I haven’t visited the Hudson Valley Harvest in Kingston, NY. However I have purchased since last month a good number of jars of the Hudson Valley Harvest 16oz. raw local honey from Whole Foods in Manhattan. Let me just say that I tried just about all the other honeys out there and I must say that nothing compares to the taste of Hudson Valley Harvest honey. Their taste is just absolutely superb. Right now I can’t use any other honey if it’s not Hudson Valley Harvest. And the thing is I work in the city but live on Long Island so at times I will tote these home with me on the train. Just last week at Whole Foods in Manhattan they received their shipment of Hudson Valley Harvest raw local honey in the 16oz and the smaller size and the shelf was full of them. I forget how many ounces that the smaller one holds but all I can say is that before week’s end there were only 4 -16oz jars left. I scooped up all 4 before they were gone. This honey goes really fast because all who purchase it knows it is one of the best. So if you get a chance give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed. I just wonder why Hudson Valley Harvest staff don’t put on the label that it is Organic since they say they don’t use any harsh chemicals or antibiotics. AnywY thank you Hudson Valley Harvest for making a really great tasting honey. You guys are tops in my book.

This Is a tough one. I'd give them 5 stars for the food, trucking and the Accounting Department, but because customer service is exasperating beyond words or star ratings, I had to make it a 3. They do not have anyone to answer the phone, which is absolutely ridiculous. They are located in Germantown, an area known to have spotty cell service, yet the customer service manager uses texting, when and if there is any response at all. I cannot say enough to praise the Accounting Manager, because he has saved the day several times, going beyond his job description. Again, the food itself is outstandingly fresh and delicious, but it's so difficult to communicate that I might give up until they hire someone to consistently answer the phone. How hard could that be in the current state of mass unemployment?

I liked their products I’d purchased at a local Whole Foods (jarred goods), so when I moved away from the northeast I placed an order with them online. Communication after the order was placed was zero. Order took over a week just to get shipped out. Calls and emails unanswered. Items finally arrived...2 out of 8 jars completely destroyed. Postal service can be rough on packages, but this was clearly a packaging issue. Too many glass jars in a box together with very little bubble wrap. Again, calls and emails go unanswered. I would love to order again because their stuff is good, but they don’t seem to have their customer satisfaction top priority.

Meat is rotten, and it's expensive
Rats in the warehouse. They waste more meat, rather then donate to the people who are less fortunate. Honestly it's not worth your money. ,💯
