Scam artists plain and simple. Four pails of truck wash arrived by mail that we never ordered with past fire chiefs name on the order with a bill for 1228 dollars. Refused to pay the invoice as the order was not approved and they continue to send invoices every other week , leave voice mails , emails and no answer on response of course. I let them know they’re welcome to arrange pickup of their product no answer back. We didn’t open but I’d guess the drums are filled with water.

Salesman called me and asked if he could send “samples” of gear wash out, I said sure send all the samples you want. They claim to have shipped 4- 5gal pails. I only received 3 and then billed us $1200+. I’m not paying for product I didn’t order wish I could give negative stars.

Scam!!! They are targeting fire departments!!! They offer to send a catalog and send product instead and then send you a large bill for things you didn’t order! Then they refuse to take it back. Report them to the BBB!!

Total fraudsters! Avoid like the plague! They called and wanted to send us a free sample of TOG soap. 20 gallons showed up then a $1,200 bill. They refuse to take it back. They finally agreed to lower the bill to "only" $250 for the shipping! Also, we tested the soap and it's that acidic we don't even trust to use it for our TOG!

I conducted business with GVC through my role as a volunteer fire chief. The first time GVC contacted me, the salesperson spoke so fast, I unwittingly agreed to a purchase before I was aware that we were discussing doing business. It was only at the end of the conversation that i was made aware that we had apparently been talking about making a purchase. I was sold structural turnout gear cleaner, more than I would ever need, but I learned from my mistake (or so I thought). I took my lumps and moved on.

The second time GVC contacted me, I was more wary. I purposefully did not agree to any order, and we did not discuss products, quantities, or terms. The salesperson even offered to send me a free knife for my previous order. He told me the knife would be sent through the mail. Next thing I know, I am being called by a freight carrier, who has a pallet of chemicals for me. GVC had sent me $3,000, twice the original order, in vehicle soap. More than my budget could afford and more than I would use in 15 years.

I called the company after receiving the invoice, explained what had happened and they agreed to take 50% off the order, so I agreed to keep it. If not for the reasonable customer service, and attempt by GVC to make this right, i would have rated 1 star.

Very sketchy sales techniques with shifty salespeople. Be extremely cautious when dealing with GVC in order to keep out of hot water

Scammers as stated in others' posts. Salesman called, got all of the department information, stated he would get a catalogue in the mail along with a sample to try out as they were trying to expand their business. No discussion of pricing, quantity, or payment. Several weeks later, 20 gallons arrived with no notice or other contact from the sales rep. Another week goes by and a $1,300 invoice is received. Upon contacting the customer service number, the sales rep tries to blame it on another "salesman" even though he was the same person I spoke with originally. He then tried to get us to pay for part of the order instead of the full amount, never admitting they made a mistake and stated there was a restocking fee and reinspection process. When we refused to pay anything since we had not placed an order, he got angry and hung up the phone.

Scammers!!! Billed us 921.58 for "samples". We mailed them a check even though we didnt agree to buy these samples. They hounded the chief and stated they never recieved the check, so he paid with the department debit card. A week later they cashed the check they claimed they never got!!! We have filed a report with our local law enforcement and contacted our bank. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!!!! Wish we could leave negative stars!!!!

Scam. Sent us 15 gallons of soap and billed us almost $1000.00 and NO we are not paying it. we did not order it and we only have 19 members on our small rural fire department. How do they sleep at night? can we give negative stars for a rating
