We ordered 2 cakes for my son’s first birthday and I never imagined they would turn out as beautiful as they did!

Kayla was SO easy to communicate with, she responded to emails and phone calls so quickly! I sent her a few inspiration photos (but nothing ‘exact’) and the cakes she made were far more beautiful than anything I could anticipate. My husband picked them up and wouldn’t even let me look at them without him in the room because he wanted to see my reaction!

I have been to this bakery for many birthdays and events, and I am never disappointed. Today, I am especially grateful to Kayla and the team. I try to order our cakes 3-4 weeks in advance, but this year life had other plans. My husband was injured and hospitalized and then had to have unexpected surgery. Our daughter’s birthday pre-planning fell through the cracks. I actually remembered to email pictures of what my daughter wanted while he was in surgery, just 6 days before we needed it. Kayla was so understanding and patient. She did an amazing job and we were able to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. It was one thing I didn’t have to worry about and helped to make her day special despite everything else going on around us. My husband was even discharged on her birthday, so the cake and celebration were extra sweet to us. Thank you Cake Street Sweets!!
