As a longstanding customer and beneficiary of the Parkers Brand, I am pleased that the move to new digs finally happened, and fine quality English and British fare has become available again. I Recently received my first shipment from the relocated Parkers store, and could not fail to review and comment on the goods and the experience.
As an expat Westcountryman from Devon, it always amazed and pleased me to find food from home of such stellar quality available in America. Parkers products are first rate, a;lways have been, and are in this day and age often better than I am able to find on our annual trips home for the Panto, Proms and rambles in the countryside.
All of Parkers Meat pie selection are as good as if one is on our little island eating them. Crust, filling, selection and flavour are all spot on - and are a big part of my orders over the years. These qualities have never once wavered or declined, and are a constant our family has come to cherish.
Being a Devon lad - now retired after having swallowed the anchor and become a landsman - I hold most dear the Cornish Pasty , the Westcountry's other food miracle alongside clotted cream Teas (first served in Taunton in 1426 by the first Earl of Devon - according the current Earl, Charles Courtenay)
During the time Parkers was closed and their many delicacies unavailable, I learned to make both of these delightful culinary gems and so am well placed to comment on the new Cornish Pasty - an extra-large meal-in-one.
My impressions of the pasty are good, it is tasty, well cooked and arranged contents, with super crimping. I was struck by the lack of egg wash when I first opened them, and in fact this led me to wonder if it was baked or ready-to-bake. Customer service was swift, personal and exemplary. Apparently, the Pasty is the one item outsourced by Parkers since the relocation, and was indeed baked fully. Obvious to me was that the baker did not grow up with pasties as we lads did. Gratified by Jessica's lightning-quick responses to my observations and queries and Emma's personal time, I decided that I would bake the new Pasty as I had my own and give it some colour and body in the process.
I have attached photos of the 'pale' pasty next to one of my own making , and then a photo of Parkers' wonderful pasty after I baked it for 50 minutes at 375 and egg washed it before and during (and probably overdid the colouration a bit;-)
The result was a pasty with structure, colour and that wonderful familiar flavour. This was a pasty you could shove in your coat and go for a ramble.
My only recommendation for any of Parkers fine foodstuffs is for this pasty. I suggest that you bake it from frozen and apply egg wash before and during in order to get the pasty we all grew up with. This is an appearance and structure issue for the pasty, and in no way a criticism of it's contents or edibility. It is the opinion of an old salt who cherishes things that recall his home and childhood. As there is no chippy at the moment, I can say nothing about that beloved memory.
This is after all, what the true priceless value of Parkers is to this Englishman, and I am sure, to many grateful expats in America.

Just got my newest order from Parker's and can't wait to dig in and eat it all. I, for one, am glad they reopened. The website is user-friendly, there are lots of choices to choose from and delivery is prompt. The pies, meats and bakery goods are delicious. You can always contact them for assistance and they're most cooperative. Glad you're back.

I was in the UK last week visiting family and we went to M&S to do a food shop. I went straight for the Sausage Rolls and Scotch Eggs. What a disappointment! They were really bland , Parker’s are much better. Keep up the good work team.

So glad that Parkers is back. We have enjoyed their breakfast meat products for quite a few years now. My Dad lives with us here in Virginia and misses his proper English breakfasts. We had a full breakfast for dinner this evening and to say he was pleased would be a massive understatement. Thank you!

I ordered pork pies, scotch eggs, Cumberland sausage and a selection of curry pies. Everything tastes great. The pork pies and scotch eggs were very tasty but the curry pies were unbelievable, reminded me of being on the terraces back home in England watching the footy. Cumberland sausage was a great tasting sausage, not as peppery as a traditional one but very good. Definitely recommend you give them a go and repeat you order again and again.

We've ordered our British food from Parker's for a few years now. We were devastated when we heard they were closing their business last year. Then we were thrilled to hear they were reopening their doors with new folk in charge. We placed an order last Friday, for all our favourite British pies, bacon etc. We were not disappointed when our parcel arrived just a few days later, still nicely chilled, all the way from the east coast to California, with no shipping costs! (as we had spent over $150). We had another surprise when we opened our parcel and found some lovely free treats from the company for being one of their first customers to place an order over $200! Thank you Parker's for making ordering our British goodies online so easy, having outstanding customer service and most importantly, giving your customers top notch food!!

Just received my first order from the “new” Parker’s. Quality is outstanding. I find the pie and pasty crusts much improved compared to the “old” Parker’s…and contents are delicious of course!

(Traveling with Jeff) Long time Parker’s customer that was hugely disappointed when they took a break to relocate. Now that they’re back, they’re better than ever. I’m not sure I have a favorite out of all the products but the sausages (especially Old English and Cumberland) are a mainstay of my Dublin Coddle and bangers and mash. But then there are the pies. Beef and Ale? Or Beef and Onion? Ploughman? Who can choose? Our last pickup order filled a large ice chest. We are stocked for a month or two. The treats are special too, don’t miss out on them. Condiments? The Branston Pickle is essential for my cheese and pickle sandwiches. So much more, check it out.
