I was at a large orange hardware store and wanting to purchase sod, though they had a small 12x12 square for 13 bucks!! I called Avalon Nursery, they can pre-order sod, but they have to have a few pre-orders, which is fine. Sod is expensive and doesn't have a lengthy shelf life. Anyhow, She had another customer who was wanting it, she will have it this weekend. This is a family owned and ran business. So why not make my purchase from a family owned business. I will also be picking up a few trees and citronella bushes. If they don't have it, ask, they might be able to get it. Thank you Avalon Nursery.

i love this nursery so much! it’s bigger than you would expect, and there’s a great variety of fun plants and all for great prices. our house is filled with beautiful plants and i couldn’t be happier. if you live near LA, definitely visit this nursery for your plants- they’re unique and amazingly-priced

I have gone to this nursery for a few years now and it is an amazing little place. Lots of variety and the people are so helpful. I was having issues with my roses and when I asked they recommended products that really helped. Support small businesses when you can, this place is top tier if you’re in the neighborhood.

I love this place!
soo before I go ahead and say why let me first say that this was my grandmas favorite plant shop, she would always bring me along with her when I was younger and I loved it. Since she passed away I started getting into plants and every time I go here I feel at peace. The first time I went I was alone and I had no idea they were closing and instead of being rude and asking me to leave, they helped me buy a beautiful plant!
