The doorman named Jack, seems to own the pantry. He chooses who to give good food boxes to and who gets the trash. I noticed the tippers get the good boxes, not to mention he is not a nice person. I will starve before he insults me again. Supposed to be caring.

Extremely rude front doorman, cusses people out and is impatient and just spiteful. For operating a place that people rely on he was just unpleasant. I have always gone to another food Bank and today this one was closer and I felt like it would do just as well, no. I will waste the gas I can't even afford to avoid these people and this place

The man that works the door is named Jack and he is rude to people and favors his friends, I never got a meat product until he was out due to surgery and someone else operated the pantry. Now he's back and it's back to favoritism. Trade him out for a new doorman.

The guy and hus wife are so nice and sweet. And are very giving to help with food needs. They also loved my puppy,wanted one. They are dog lovers and that really means alot to me and orhers. So if you want stop by the food bank just meeting them would be a positive ,pleasant experiance.

Hey what can I say Joe and Joy are so cool they are such nice people and they have gone out of their way so many times to help me. This is a classic awesome independent food bank with a very personal touch the volunteers work so hard I don't think they get much outside help or funding most of their help I think comes from the local supermarkets and people locally volunteer they really really work hard to make this a great food bank

Let's be honest - If you need help, stop by. If you are homeless, bring proof from DES and they can give you an extra package on a bi-monthly basis. I only wish that they could extend the hours into the afternoon on some occasions. Please be patient if there is a line. Also, if at all possible, leave animals and children at home.
