After a long, stressful day of getting towed to the Catskills in New York, Rip Van Winkle Brewing Company turned out to be the one bright spot that saved it all.

The Detroit-style pizza was absolutely perfect—crispy crust, gooey cheese, and fresh, delicious toppings that hit the spot.

The blueberry barbecue wings were a flavor bomb—sweet, tangy, and cooked to perfection.

The service was top-notch, with a friendly and welcoming staff that made me feel right at home.

I have to give a big thanks to the guy from the nearby tow truck company who recommended this place.

It completely turned my day around! Highly recommend this gem to anyone in the area.

Good service, waiter was nice and friendly but didn’t even show us the specials( which the other waitress was showing all her guest) while the food is still good, I had the Arugula salad and added grilled shrimp $8 extra - for 4 tiny shrimp. While salad was large the $ for the shrimp is ridiculous in price!

This place was delicious. Finished a hike and stumbled upon this place. OH Schnitzel this meal was on point ! The pasta portion was huge. The beer was delicious. The service was quick and kind. Will be returning. 10/10

We went with a large group for dinner and had a great time. All of the food was excellent and at a fair price. Our waitress kept the drinks flowing as we enjoyed our meals. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert. This is an off the beaten path restaurant you must try. 1/10/24 i’m not sure what happened from the first time to the second time but the food the second time was a completely different food as it was not that good and I’m not really sure why went with the family this time. Youngest one had pizza did not like the taste of it. my oldest son did get the special today which was the tuna and it looks really good. Take a look at the picture and he enjoyed it. I think it might be just the pizza type products that they just aren’t as good as what I thought they would be. Maybe I have to try it for a third time.

Such a fun & welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed the St. Patty’s weekend specials. The Shepherd’s Pie was phenomenal & the Corned Beef Reuben was over the top! Blown away yet again by such great food & service right in our neighborhood.

We ordered Buddy Boy pizza, and it was delicious, especially the crust. We also ordered a beer sampler the red was the best one. We didn’t like the Angela Brewing beer the maple notes were too heavy, but that’s okay. We also ordered strawberry fried with ice cream, which was delicious! We can’t wait to come back here.

Stopped by the Rip Van Winkle brewing Co. for dinner and it did not disappoint. It was a really cute restaurant with a brewing area you could kind of see. Our waitress was nice and the food was great. We ordered the 12 inch traditional pizza, garlic knots (it came with 10!!), and a side of penne alla vodka. Everything was great! The side of pasta was huge and definitely more than enough for me. So that’s a nice trick to save a little money. The order of knots was so fresh and huge we could only eat half. And the pizza was so good and crispy. My bf got a flight of beers to sample and he really enjoyed them
all. I also got the berry bourbon lemonade and it was so good. It was super busy, but I definitely recommend this if you are in the area!

Such a GREAT LOOKING RESTAURANT. My rating is only based on the few times I’ve gotten takeout or delivery from here. Last take out was tonight and I’m sure it’ll be the last unless we’re desperate . So I ordered a large cheese pie half pepperoni ,(whuch was burnt ) an order of twenty wings an order of garlic knots , a butter milk fried chicken sandwich w/fries and penne ala vodka with GRILLED CHICKEN I decided to pick up so it was fresh for the family to much on . The order came out to $94 plus ofcourse tip . Well the pizza looked like it was as sliced by a blind person , not one slice was equal, in fact one slice was pretty much half the pie , like wow. The pizza was bland and flavorless , I always seem to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I’m always disappointed with bland pizza, like the sauce doesn’t even taste like pizza sauce , idk maybe it’s just me . The sandwhich was dry and had nothing on it . I asked for garlic parmesan wings with sweet chili sauce on the side . I got plain wings with a very very small amount of sauce on the side , like come on for almost a 100 order I expect to get sauce for my wings . Now to the bread twist with burnt garlic cloves DRY , that was to be called “garlic knots “ , they were anything but . As for the pasta dish , well my grilled chicken was two big pieces of chicken oddly big like chubby almost inflated it looked odd. I didn’t eat the chicken . But the pasta and vodka sauce was EXCELLENT . I feel like they have a lot of food they don’t sell so they load you up . Idk just tired of this place I guess. I hear good things about this place but I’m always disappointed and we’re not hard to please at all.
