Really blown away by The Sausage Maker's incredible customer service. I live in Vietnam and foolishly chose the cheapest shipping option to have some casings delivered here. the box got lost in transit somewhere along the way, and when I emailed the company asking if they had received any notification, they responded within a few hours and took it upon themselves to immediately ship a new order with a better shipping option at no extra cost. The 1st box getting lost was not their fault at all, yet they were extremely responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. I just received the second package, and honestly it feels like Christmas morning. They have made a lifelong customer out of me, and I will sing their praises to whoever i come across who has an interest in sausage casings. Thank you!

When you order sausage making products that are supposed to deliver several days before you need them and start thawing a large quantity of meat (80 lbs) only to get two late shipping notifications and find out the products are going to deliver well after your window for safe food processing, you can’t really call your company the sausage maker. More like the spoiled meat maker. If you’re buying only shelf stable products, and don’t need them to arrive in any promised time frame, then I suppose consider buying from these folks. Otherwise, I’d suggest finding a competitor that can make good on their delivery dates. Will be working to get a refund that will fall way short of what I’ll be out in meat quality that I’ll have to refreeze.

I want to take a minute to recognize the efforts of John P. at sausage maker. This gentleman went well above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with a recent purchase of some hog casings.
With customer service rapidly declining in most of the vendors I use, dealing with John was a welcomed change.

Excellent customer service! It was refreshing to talk to Meghan and feel like she genuinely cared about the issue we had. I borrowed a meat grinder from a friend and the handle broke, so I contacted The Sausage Maker Inc. and they went out of the way to find the part I needed and get it sent. I definitely would recommend doing business with this company!

We have ordered from them for years with no problem. This year we received the wrong product. I called and John took great care of us. We had a limited time to make our sausage due to work constraints and John expedited the replacement. Great products, great people, great service!

I cannot express enough how dissatisfied I am with the services. I ordered over a week ago. Its deer season in NY and I have been needing my products all week! They called me and said that the Hi- temp cheese was going to be late. So I told them to go a head and ship everything else because I needed it this week. I haven't seen or heard anything since. Not only have I waited long for the products needed but the shipping cost is outrageou as well. This company certainly does not have a positive review on my note.

I've been wanting to make venison snack sticks and summer sausage. Stopped in and bought their 10 pound stuffer...casings...instacure #1 and stainless tube for snack sticks. Picked up a bone saw at a very reasonable price. I also needed a fine plate for my grinder. I live about an hour drive from their business. Got home to find I was given the wrong plate. Drove back and John apologized and gave me a boning knife and a pound of high temperature cheese for the inconvenience. He was very helpful with all my questions regarding smoking meats. Bonus that the stuffer came with seasoning kit. Can't wait to get started with my venison. I'll always be a customer.
