An amazing beer garden, and special place to spend some time on the West Side of Buffalo. I really enjoyed their original "grassroots" location off Niagara Street, but have equally grown to love their newer location on 7th near Jersey. Really nice patios at the front and back of the establishment, and a really nice and spacious dining area inside, which includes an upstairs mezzanine (with toys and games - including a RUSH pinball machine!!), a large bar with stools, and plenty of seating in various areas. Their "pub grub" style food is surprisingly good - we love their hot pretzels with mustard/cheese for dipping. Their beer selection is substantial year-round, and I have many favorites. The Whale (and its various seasonal variations) is excellent. They have a year-round Pilsner that is always easy to drink. And their seasonal Octoberfest is another one I enjoy, as it is a unique take on the Fall classic. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Stopped by the launch party for the 2022 Slow Roll season at Community Beer Works today and will definitely come back. The main dining room is open with a main bar, additional seating is a available upstairs adjacent to a pinball arcade. 🤩 They had a number of brews to choose from. We had the Let’s Go Pils and the Don’t Go Bacon My Heart appetizer, both were perfect. 🤌🏼 Def recommend. Megan, our bar tender and server was very friendly and added the extra 👌🏼to our visit.

Been here a handful of times now (it is just down the street from me after all) and really glad it's close by. The service here is always super friendly and efficient and the beer is generally pretty good. They do a lot of collabs too which makes for some interesting beers to try and the food is pretty solid too.

Definitely would recommend this place as a top choice for a place to go and chill with friends for a beer or two as well since they've got a ton of seating (both indoors and out) and events fairly frequently.

Been here a few times while using our WNY Beer Trail Pass. Always a good selection of beers on tap. Sometimes the bartenders are a bit quiey but at least they pay attention and keep your glass filled. We also joined a party that rented the place out for a wedding and that was a great time as well. Parking is a bit tough sometimes but never to the point where we cant get in. We will be back again once the weather warms up.

One of my favorite breweries in western NY. The beer selection is superb every single time you walk in. The staff is very friendly and the service is very quick. I have never had a bad time at this brewery or even a mediocre one. One of the things I love about nice weather in this area I knowing it will be time to enjoy CBW's outdoor patio again. Do yourself a favor and stop in as soon as you can. The only problem you might have is deciding which beer to get so make it easier on yourself and just get a flight.

There was a mistake and our reservation was not recorded for a birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party. They by far made up for the error and we could not be more thankful! The food and drinks are great here but the staff is the star, thank you so much Community Beer Works!

Great place to grab a beer and hang out with some friends. Visited this place as a part of an event, good amount of tables and they have arcades on the second floor and a huge screen. Their beers are pretty good and have a great variety.

I really enjoyed everything about my experience tonight. I had a nice guy wearing a shirt with pineapples on it serve me. He saw I was on my own and asked if I had been there before. He helped me choose a beer and got me a sample. I have no idea what it was but it was good and I had the beer burger. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It was a wonderful location for the premier of go bike Buffalo.
