I ordered the burnt ends platter which came with grits casserole, cornbread, and one side. The cornbread was the only edible part of my meal. The burnt ends were entirely fat, and cold. The fries and grits were cold, and gross. I took my plate back to the window and informed them of the issues. The woman said she would “let someone know.” No one bothered to come out and talk to us or follow up. So I wasted $15 on food that I didn’t eat.

This was the worst version of burnt ends I have ever encountered. Total waste of $20. The place does looks cool on the inside. I got this meal to go as I was in a hotel right down the road. I would not call those burnt ends more like meat chunks. Mac and cheese was worse than kraft. Super small portions. Deff would not recommend. Maybe other things are better. Cornbread was ok tho

One of the beat Barbecue place I have been to. The brisket is great, the mac and cheese as well as the potato salad was awesome as well. Nice outdoor seating for nice weather days. Staff is great as well. Will definitely return here as soon as possible. Great atmosphere as well. Right near Hampton Inn Edwardsville Illinois. Prices were reasonable. One minor flaw, I gave the cashier cash, she had to use her phone to give me change, not a big thing, I assume she could have been brand new.

We were in town looking for a place to eat with our dog. They let us eat on the covered patio. The food was so delicious! Bruce gave it a 10/10 and so did we!

Place wasnt bad, but it wasnt the best Ive had. Pretty good still, the interior and staff were great. Seemed like a nice bar as well.

I didn’t know what to expect with the mix of good and bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The burnt ends tasted great and the bed of grits they were served on were the biggest surprise of the meal. The grits were full of flavor and had a nice kick of heat. The mac and cheese was also very good. Like others have said the cornbread was dry and a disappointment but the other parts of the meal made up for it. The sweet tea was the perfect southern sweetness. The place is pretty big and has plenty of seating. There is also a full bar and lots of outdoor tables. The food did take a while to come out after I ordered, but I would say the wait was worth it. Definitely give this place a try!

Once again, Yelp needs to provide us with a half star. Unfortunately for Edley's, I have rolled down, instead of up. It was a hard call, so that is why I want that 1/2 star.

I've eaten in at the bar and have gotten carry-out, so I have experienced both services. Personally, for me it is best to dine-in. I live 20 minuets away, so the freshness and warmth are gone by the time I get home.

I have enjoyed their wings and Burnt Ends and would recommend them both. Their cornbread is better than other BBQ joints in STL. I'm wavering on the Baked Beans, but they are above average. Their Man-n-Cheese could be a little cheesier, but the flavor and creaminess are good. Fries are top notch, they're crispy on the outside with a hot and soft inside.

The Ribs here are a big, no thanks. I've ordered a half-rack and they were full of gristle. The flavor was good, but the meat itself was the disappointment.

On my last visit, they were advertising a 32 oz Pork Steak that they offer on Saturday and Sunday. I'm planning to go back and try it, because I am a huge fan of a juicy Pork Steak.

It's an order at the counter and find a seat restaurant. The order takers are cordial. I always sit at the bar and enjoy adult beverages and the bartenders are super friendly. The ambiance is very contemporary and when weather permits, the outside seating is very welcoming.

We’ll most certainly be back for the Wings (Classic Buffalo), Fries, Baked Beans, and phenomenal customer service! The wings were tender, tasty, and crispy. The fries were the best we ever had, being crispy & seasoned! The Baked Beans were like Chili, not basic, many different kinds of beans, complex flavors, and spicy!
