I used to shop here regularly when I lived on that side of town. Well I was out on the north side today so I had to make a stop to Midstate, they cut me a fresh 1lb NY Strip and it is just such a great piece of meat. I don’t think I have ever made a google review but I had to stop what I was doing and just say WOW I remember why I used to come here so much. Thanks again guys, always friendly and genuinely feels like they appreciate your business. Respect fellas well done!

Everything was frozen, was only looking for eggs. Maybe that kind of thing is weird around here at a butcher shop but not where I am from but they had frozen fruit available. I looked around quickly realizing the prices and the quality wasn't what I had in mind and walked out the door. I was tailed by one of the employees coming out the door asking me if they could help me with anything and then wished me a nice day. It was appreciative however seemed a little strange to me. I don't believe in bad reviews for locally owned businesses I know how hard it is to get a reputation. I hope the owner reads this and gets a better selection of products in store that's not all frozen especially at the prices they had available maybe thinks about having some eggs hopefully local eggs with their selection of bacon and maybe have a talk with there staff on where to draw the line when interacting with the customer. If I am leaving your pob out the door you don't follow me into the parking lot because it's a little strange for me and probably others as well. Hope this feedback helps and look forward to seeing changes in the near future.

Went in today and bought two bacon wrapped fillets. Had them hand cut them for me 12 ounces of piece and I have to say best fillet. I think I’ve ever ate by far meat is top-notch great service and like I said, I’ve ate a lot of fillets and I have never put a better one on the grill.

Paul hooked us up with some Prime ribeyes and their special seasoning. It was so amazing. Best steak I have ever had for the money. Highly highly recommend

Workers were great but found the pre packed meat items poor quality, 2 months old once we got home with it and found dates, waisted 100 dollars to just toss the stufff. Was not their fault should of paid more attention when I purchased it.
