Every year (7 yrs running) We have the best experience at Gorman Tree Farm! Been coming here since moving to the area with our massive ceiling in the Great Room. Gorman is one of the few places in Chicagoland that has X-LARGE Xmas trees. We are treated like family by Kevin, Molly and the rest of the Tree Farm team! It’s not easy finding a 12ft live Fraser Fir with the most perfect shape. Thanks again Gorman’s, 2024 tree measures at 14 feet!

I was looking forward to visiting this tree farm based on the other reviews, but unfortunately, I ended up very disappointed with the service we received. No one appeared interested in helping my interracial family, but they were quick to approach, greet, and help those who arrived after us (all Caucasian). Even when I tracked down someone to help point me in the right direction for my mom's tree, the guy had no clue about the trees. We ended up purchasing 2 trees, but thanks to them not trimming the trunk of branches (though they did make the trunk shorter by cutting off the tips), our trees won't stand up straight because they can't fit in the base properly. So now we have to pull each tree out and trim it ourselves which defeats the purpose of all this. I also saw them shake out other customers' trees to get the leaves and loose branches out, but we didn't receive that. I guess they don't have a standard process - maybe it's one I just have to ask for. I've never had to ask for these services at any other place I've bought trees from in the past bc it was a standard process for everyone. The quality of the tree is nice, but no better than other places I've gone to. Unfortunately, this will be the first and last visit for us.

This Christmas tree experience was excellent! We arrived on December 4th and bought one of the last five trees they had, so go early!

We arrived and the tree was not only fresh but discounted. The kind people who helped us tied the tree to the top of our car while we checked out and got a free cup of cider (and shopped for some fresh squash). Just a delightful and quick trip!

My family has been coming here for Christmas trees since I was a kid. Now that I have my own kids, we make the 45 minute drive here to pick out our Christmas tree. Super friendly, and they remember us every year! Great family farm.

An easy drive from Chicago and a great selection of trees! One of the few places that has Frasier firs, we got one from here last year as well and it hardly lost any needles, it was well worth it! Highly recommend to get a fresh tree here.
