I took my mom to Poppin' Plates for a Pre-Mothers Day Brunch today! On the menu: Shrimp and grits, biscuits and sausage gravy, pot roast, Mac n cheese, greens, chicken and waffles, sausage, bacon, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits. Every item was delicious and made with love. Comedienne Lunchabelle was the host and she was hilarious!! RJ and his wife were most gracious!

It’s a great space for events. The tables and chairs were decorated great and the food was amazing! Absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend for any event! The ONLY downside is parking out front but there is a huge parking space in the back which can accommodate any large gatherings.

Poppin Plates provided the food for a funeral luncheon today. The quality of the food was excellent. The owner's responsiveness and service were exceptional. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them for anyone!

We recently had Poppin' Plates as our catering for our baby shower. Fershawnda and her team knocked it out the park. Their timeliness was punctual, and although I didn't get to eat until after the event, it was phenomenal.....the stuffed mushrooms and vegan sliders were my favorite!

Poppin’ is exactly what this place is doing. There’s hope for food in the south suburbs! I’m more than impressed. The chicken étouffée was full of flavor! Fresh vegetables, rice and nice big pieces of chicken. It was not too spicy, not too mild, just perfect. Came with a perfectly toasted piece of garlic bread- which for my garlic bread fanatics, its not always easy to do! 10 stars ✨
