Our Christmas dinner was over the top good! Tenderloin was the best we’ve had in a very long time! Red mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, Mac and cheese, harvest salad, and even the dinner rolls were great! Excellent cooking - heating instructions! Truly made hosting Christmas dinner for 20 people a breeze!

This place is great. Wife and I are so happy we found this close to our come. I walked in about 15 min prior to closing. I met the owner and he was extremely helpful and gave me a run down of all their products. My wife and I were very pleased with what I picked up!! The steak we got was out of this world and his homemade Italian Sausage (I got MILD and HOT - we LOVED the HOT!!) was fantastic! 10/10 will go back. Can't wait to try the chicken!

I ordered three 8 oz filet mignon for Christmas and two pork chops for this weekend. All I can say is WOW! These were truly the best cuts of meat in our area. Not cheap but the quality of their meat is worth the price. I'll go vegetarian for weeks just so I can enjoy a dinner using this butcher. I cooked both meats the same way. High hot sear on both sides with salt and pepper only. Drop in two pats of irish butter and into the oven until instant read thermometer hits the right internal temp. Gibsons aint got nothing on your meats. So good. Thanks Heybecks!

Good quality meat, but highly overpriced. And, your receipt does not show any detail other than the grand total of the purchase. What honest, customer caring reason is there for those two issues? Hot dogs are boring and bacon is okay. Frozen veal is good. Frozen short ribs are good. All four of those items are ridiculously priced. Even his prices for the Elegant Farmer frozen pies, jams and apple sauce are ridiculously overpriced. The can of apple sauce I purchased had a lot of rust on the lid which I did not notice until getting home. Last time I purchased there, the owner helped me. He looked like he had a hangover. Although some of the meat is excellent quality, the prices are too ridiculous to support this business. He lost mine.

I visited this place for the first and last time last week. I was there to grab some steaks to grill over the weekend and was expecting something similar to a butcher or at least something of that quality level. I was horribly disappointed. I do not mind paying a premium for fresh, quality steaks, but most of the "fresh" meats here were vacuum-sealed, which seems inherently less-than-fresh. I requested 2 porterhouses and a strip, but realized when I got home that was given 2 thin T-bones and a strip, instead. $70 for 3 vacuum-packaged steaks that weren't even what I ordered. With so many quality meat shops in the area, there is no way this business can be competitive.

Best Ham I’ve ever eaten. Most store bought hams are too salty but this ham was delicious. It’s all we’ve eaten since Thanksgiving and we’re not tired of it at all. The twice baked potatoes were also great and the Wisconsin Swiss is a fabulous cheese. Love this place and highly recommend!

I went it looking for great quality steaks. Game out with four decent sized filets for 85 dollars and high expectations. These better be amazing for that price, I thought....And they were amazing. Although to my credit I have mastered the art of the sear on the cast iron pan. The steaks were just as good if not better than steaks I have had at Wildfire (my favorite restaurant), Better than Mortons for sure. As good as the best steak I have ever had at Bavettes in Chicago. Everyone at my dinner party loved them. I will be returning to Heybeck's when every I want to treat myself and my family to what we call "Wildfire at home"

My family and I have been going to Heybeck's for years. I love the cuts of their steaks and chops. They are really helpful with picking out good cuts of meat for special occasions. I most recently got my dad a tri-tip steak from here and he absolutely loved it! (and so did the rest of the family!)
