Gordon Brandon and Shane are extremely busy happy pleasant to chat with you. Extremely excellent customer experience. We stayed I. The hotel was perfect for me while I was recovering from a back surgery. The store had plenty of groceries and the men took excellent care even delivered the groceries when needed. Great location and the wild bunnies were nice and around quite often.

You cannot beat the price here. There are electric hook-ups and the campground is very dusty and the wind really pucks it up, however they make up for it by having 24-hour shower access. The owners and staff are very friendly and were understanding when we realized we needed to cut our reservation short and were willing to give us a refund for the extra night. Definitely recommend.

Spent the night in their campground. Gordon and Audrey are excellent hosts, if asked, they will share a bit of their fishing expertise. The campsites are neat and clean, there is a store where you can find just about anything you need. We recommend this nice, cozy campground for anyone passing through Sterling.

Great options for drinks. Friendly cashier. Cool place to stop and buy a brew after hiking and adventuring in the Skilak area. Saw a bear today so bought a tasty Kodiak beer with a bear on it. 🙂

We have stayed at Bing Browns motel on 3 different fishing trips to Alaska, each time was for 7 to 10 days . The last time we stayed was August 2015. Each stay was good & last year Jim & Debbie had made many improvements on the motel rooms. Jim & Debbie are very accommodating. There were 4 of us in 2 rooms, each room has a nice kitchenette & 2 beds. Last trip one room had a full size fridge. They even rented us space in a freezer to freeze our fish.|| For about 90 bucks a room you can't beat it for an all guys fishing trip!!
