Shannon was working the bar and she really knows these beers. She describes them more elegantly than most men I've heard describe a woman. She listened to me, she gave me suggestions, and they worked out really nicely.

They have a nice seating area outside and the inside seating is spacious.

Because they have large windows, it's pretty cool inside.

By their water station, they have some board games for you to play with friends.

I came in to work as it was finally warm weather in Chicago and this spot did not disappoint. They have outdoor seating as well as huge windows that open which makes inside feel like outside. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, but within a few hours, the place was very busy! They have a great selection of beers, but no food. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Begyle felt like a cosy neighbourhood drinking hole, and the staff was friendly & welcoming. I went for the 3 x 5oz taster flight, and selected Begyle Blonde, Euchred (Midwest IPA) & Imperial Pajamas (oatmeal stout with coffee) nitro variant. All of them were good, but my personal favourite was the stout.

Time to freshen up this review for 2025. Just what you want in your neighborhood brewery. Should be able to find street parking but I'm able to walk there which works well because it's a brewery and beers are solid and varied. You won't find a brewery with friendlier staff. Great place and solid beers.

Great experience had a tour of the place and great drinks and great merch! I visited the brewery with my husband and son. Kevin is amazing and his staff just rocking it! Definitely a great place to hang and catch with friends and meet new ones! Awesome social atmosphere!

Great vibes, good beer, and right next door to another brewery (Dovetail). What more could you ask for? The bartender was also great when we visited. Fun time!

Great place to hang out with your buds, male or female, to have a drink in the afternoon on a fall day in Ravenswood. Staff is super friendly and the beer is amazing. If you like stouts this is the place. Its a bit hidden a away which adds on to the charm. Bring a card game or a board game and drink and have fun with some specialty beer.

Begyle was super chill and cool!! Enjoyed the whole setup next to the train tracks and American flags flying in the background for Veteran’s Day. Shout out to the Veterans!🇺🇸🇺🇸 I loved the beers!! Batch 663 (English Style Barrel Aged Barleywine Ale) was EXCELLENT!! The Imperial Pajamas (Bourbon Barrel aged imperial stout) was AWESOME!! This beer tastes like an old fashioned! You need reservations to sit down at a picnic tables. I did see some people going up to the window to get carry out to go beers and ciders! I ordered a to go cider which was great and easy drinking and a Christmas Ale 4 pack(Spiced /Herbed Beer) which was delicious and just in time for the holidays! 🎄They do not serve food. It is BYOF(Bring Your Own Food). I had a great time! 5/5 on the dude scale for the ambiance! Highly Recommend!
