The. Kids. Loved. It.

We didn’t know what to expect from this small farm tucked away in south Downers Grove, but there was so much to do, including paddle boats, animals, fishing, playgrounds, and a special on the Friday we went, a foam party!

This is a great spot for little ones and they were thoroughly exhausted in about 2 hours.

Note: Parking is quite a pain, so get there when they open.

I went here for the first time today with my husband and 14 month old and we loved it! Cute farm with lots to do and things for kids to explore. We went in the pedal boats and saw all the animals and flowers. My daughter loved petting all the different animals and kept signaling for more. We literally had to pull her away from the chickens, goats and llama! The staff was so kind and welcoming as well. One staff member noticed how much my daughter loved the flowers and clipped one for her. It was so sweet! She spent the rest of our time there holding onto that flower and smelling it. We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience with Cindy the owner and her staff and volunteers. Exactly what kids need- exploratory, experimental, outdoor ed experiences without all the "nickel and diming"activities at most family places. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Downers Grove Bicycle Club rode to Honey Bee Gardens this weekend and picked up some great garden produce & fresh eggs. It's such a beautiful, peaceful location! Lots of families with young kids were enjoying touring the farm and meeting farm animals. What a great learning experience for them!

I love to visit lot of different places during summer. But this place I visited today 1st time and definitely going back again God willing. Staff are awesome today 1st day I felt like they are my relatives 😀 ❤️ 😍 💖. Highly recommended. You guys won't regret never I promise. 🙂 you can purchase pure honey organic vegetable lot of fan for kids . Saturday if you decide to go from 10 am till 1 pm kids have opportunity to brush horses fishing ride peddling they provide everything for . Honestly there is no words to explain how I was feeling today .

This farm is a hidden gem located in unincorporated Downers Grove right on the border with Darien. The property is much bigger than I expected and features a cute little lake with a dock for fishing and some paddle boats. Lots of cute little animals throughout, I especially enjoyed the tiny breed of cute chickens they have. There's also a newly built wooden play structure and playground. Awesome place to spend a summer morning or afternoon at. Great volunteering opportunity for kids that love animals!

The people were absolutely wonderful and I really enjoyed exploring the farm with my toddler. Its also wonderful to see so many well cared for animals.

I feel the price point was pretty steep though. At $15 per person, you are looking at paying $60 for a family of four. This pushes it out of what is affordable for my family.

Still, I'm glad we visited.
