Identifying annual and perennial crops and joe to research markets for crops. Twenty years of knowing Fred Carter, Dr. Jifunza Wright, and Akin Carter has increased my admiration for all they have been able to create through Black Oaks Center for Sustainable Living. The inspiration, the knowledge, the spirit of BOC has keep them in the forefront of my life and interest in Regenerative Agriculture. The main focus of my life is to see them as the #1 model for Resilient Community through Climate Change and beyond. Their 100 year plan to restore a historical farming community in Pembroke, IL is the most exciting and courageous venture I can imagine. My dream is to bring this program to the Bay Area with their support and to continue to expand awareness of their brilliant work throughout the Earth.
