Pablo’s creations are so delicious! Cafe on 5th quickly became our go to bakery for our family while on vacation. Everything we tried was great. Kids loved the empanadas and cinnamon rolls and cookies and blueberry scones. And my wife raved about the salmon chowder. We would go back multiple times a day. But beware! They run out of goodies, so go early or you’ll miss out. And the staff were super kind and friendly and accommodating. I needed a bunch of churros as a thank you gift and Pablo cranked out a special batch just for us within an hour. I was able to deliver hot yummy churros to my friends. Thank you for making our vacation better!

I'm super glad I stumbled upon this place after a cold morning bike ride. They have a simple yet super interesting drink menu; I loved the flavor combos they come up with. I had their Mother Earth (matcha, chai, and espresso) and it was exceptional -- a little sweet, but not overwhelming, a little spicy, a little earthy, so unique and tasty. Quality and attention to detail show. They also keep a case with a few baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. I had their wild blueberry scone fresh out of the oven, and my goodness, that was a 10/10! They're GF and you'd never be able to tell -- super moist and the berries were so fresh. The staff were great and made me feel right at home while I was thawing off inside. They don't have any seats inside, but they brought one out just for me. Do me a favor, and give this place all your business when you're in town!

We came across this cute cafe and had the best coffee, hot chocolate and lunch. The soup was kale and split pea, so good!! And a slice of pizza on a croissant crust. It was delicious and a nice break from the cruise food. Lovely owners and staff, so friendly.

I was living in Skagway for the summer and this place became my favorite coffee shop in town! From the owners to the staff they are SO genuine and that’s hard to find these days. And their products are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I hope I can come back next summer just to get my dirty chia. Much love for this business

Just stop searching and go here.

The coffee is the best in town. The baked goods were so varied and excellent I legit wanted to go back and hug whoever made them. The steak and egg pastry cups were unreal, the croissants were perfect, the cookies were on par with anything I’ve had, and the cinnamon roll… (yes, we tried all of these in one visit. Don’t judge)

The employees and owners were lovely to chat with and proud of their work. This is a newer business in town and their passion and commitment show. Do yourself a favor and take a walk through town and check them out.

I stopped by today for a latte and couldn’t resist the s’mores cookie. The latte was full bodied and smooth. And the cookie was one of the best ever.

Loved this little bakery! The beef empanadas were delicious. I don't normally enjoy scones, but the wild blueberry scones are amazing! If I ever come back to Skagway, this will be my first stop.
