Loved this place! Food was excellent, we had fish and chips, chicken curry, dirty rice, couscous, injera, and dessert. It was all delicious. Sent the kids back for another meringue cookie. Thank you!!!

Lots of delicious and clearly marked vegan options! The chef/owner also told me he's going to be expanding his vegan options even more. I got the Ethiopian Spiced Vegetable Curry as well as some tofu skewers over dirty rice and highly recommend both things. I'll definitely be visiting again while I'm in town.

Chef Safari is super fun, and his food is delicious! We tried beef samosas, fish and chips, Chicken tikka Curry, and dirt rice. All fantastic. On top of that is is the chill vibe of the whole area. You can get great beer from the brewery on the same property. Beautiful greenery and flowers added to the ambiance. It was a great find as we were passing through Durango for one night.

Decided to try this as something new when I stopped by Ska Brewery. Tried the curry Tikka chicken and rice. Was not a big fan of the greens but the curry and rice were fantastic. Paired it with a Ska Ruby Soho.

We enjoyed the dishes from African continent❤️

Ordered oxtail curry- it had lot of veggies and the oxtail was cooked to perfection- moist

We also ordered Beef curry- came with 3 sides and Enjera. The Enjera bread was a tad bit sour than we’ve had before- apart from that everything we got was wonderful!

The coconut cookie was amazing❤️

Excellent African food made and served by awesome people. This is the only place you can get food like this in Durango (or anywhere within the vicinity), and their food is delicious. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Ordered the African Dry Rub Malasia Fries, the Coconut Curry w Tofu served with coconut rice, and the Vegetable platter (came with lentils, collard greens, injera bread, beans). Everything was super tasty, our favorites were the coconut curry dish and the collard greens. Highly recommended and will be back

Great to have another place in Durango with vegan/plant-based options. African food from different countries of origin, veggie options include curry, stews served with injera, kebabs, samosa. Chef safari is a great guy and very friendly. Tasty food. Recommended.

Chef Safari; you sir are an absolute blessing to the state of Colorado.

I personally don't care for positive vibes as long as the food is good. But honestly, just talking to Chef Safari for a few minutes, and you will find yourself looking forward to the dining experience even more so than from the amazing smell.

First time trying African food. I was always afraid it would lack vegetarian options. I was wrong; and Chef Safari was extremely helpful in explaining each of the dishes.

As for the food; clearly he is an absolute master. So many different foods from so many different regions; and all with distinct and very different flavors.

Highly recommend giving it a try!
