I think it is only fair to share with the public how awful the people that work here are. They HATE White people!!! I unfortunately had to shop here for many of years. My children and the all felt the tension often. I was in the store shortly after having surgery and the butcher that works there Steven, intentionally tried to hit me with a cart. The owner is oblivious to these people, or maybe not, maybe he doesn't care cause he's never available. The store is in total violation of equal opportunity rights. Carol the front checker has made comments about hating white people and has called the police on the AMISH, The Amish for not wearing masks. It's their right. Please don't shop here! Plus it's very over priced!!! STAND AGAINST RACISM!!!

Small town market with a decent selection. Prices a little high but not unreasonable and completely understandable. Packaged meat can look a little scary at times unless its the sale items or is frozen. Produce is usually good quality and competitively priced. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

There's a salty old sea hag named Linda who works the register who needs to find another line of work, considering the way she treats customers, and her generally nasty disposition. People like her are bad for business.

People are friendly, but can be hard to find help around the store. Selection is small, but they are improving and including things like soy and almond milk. Prices are generally higher than the supermarkets in alamosa, except on sales. Jack's has great prices on sales usually, particularly with produce. For a non-chain local store in a rural area, I'm grateful to have it.

I like Jack’s market a lot because I shop here often the people here are very nice but if you offer a service and don’t know how to use it it’s very disappointing especially when you live out here in the valley and you’re so far from Alamosa but Jack’s market is very convenient and you go for that service and staff doesn’t know how to use it so they can’t help you. Service (fax) being able to fax paperwork, staff did not know how to fax.

Today I went to buy dinner. I needed hamburger. No one was in meat department. There was a bell placed there to ring for service. I had to ring it twice. The 1st time the workers in Chester chicken was back there laughing. A couple minutes later I rang it again. Finally after 5 minutes one of the workers from Chester chicken finally came over to help. Poor service in the meat department.

My husband attempted to shop there today. He has a health issue that prevents him from wearing a mask. He entered, shopped and was refused ability to purchase upon reaching the register. The cashier indicated mask required and he stated he had a health exemption. She called a lady from the back area who he said was rude to him and he had to show a card to shop. She did bot explain what card she referred to. Why let somebody enter, shop and then refuse sale?
