Awful experience with them this year. Last year they did a great job but I guess this time they bit off more than they can chew. Multiple fish fillet packaged has air and frost inside on the fish within a couple weeks of freezing. Wouldn’t even sell us enough boxes to pack up all our fish. Told us they could only sell us boxes based on our fish weight that we dropped off. When we tried to show them all our packed fish and how much we still had left , they tried to say we brought fish from somewhere else. When we calculated the weight we turned in versus what we picked up, we ended up with about 14 pounds of extra fish. I could tell that we had fish that wasn’t ours because some of the fillets were very small and we had some portions which we didn’t have. Their response was, “I guess we gave you some of someone else’s fish.” So I guess you can’t trust them to get your fish back. Feel really bad for whoever’s fish we ended up with because clearly they didn’t get all of theirs back. The attitude and unapologetic nature of the interaction was a big turn off towards them. Pay a little extra but save yourself the hassle and heartache by going to Custom Seafood. They took great care of us!

Disorganized, long lines, not very helpful, pulled up with Fish already processed just needing shipping, tried to ask for help, they gave me an attitude and wouldn't answer me and just said get in the long line and we will get to you even though there were clearly two lines. All I needed was a simple answer. I drove down the Custom Seafoods, no lines and took good care of me. Hopefully Ed's can address these items and I'll give them another shot next year and update my review then if it's any different then.

Our fish was thawing at 17 hours, Thankful we got home earlier than the 48hours or our hard earned fish would've been bad!!!! I hope other people that paid the lodging , fish charters, fish packaging, plane fights home, Have good edible frozen fish.

This place is amazing!!! Tanner's handled, stored, and processed our salmon all week long. Saved every filet safely with same or next-day turnaround.

After 8 days of Salmon fishing we boxed up all the frozen fish filets and flew home. When you really think about it, it's very affordable. Over 150lbs processed for about $200.

I have used them in the past, with great satisfaction for fish processing. We dropped off 115 pounds in 2 days and will be taking more in the next 4 days. It is awesome they are open til 8pm. They are also known as Tanners. I will post pictures of their fish pricing for those who want to purchase fish instead of catching your own.

Tanner's fresh fish processing. This place smells like fish, whoa!, but man do they do a great job processing and packaging. Portion packing is available. We had four boxes and all were 50.0 lbs at the airport. Will use them again for the next trip.

They did a nice job packaging our salmon. We also bought some frozen king crab and weathervane scallops that were delicious! The lady working there was very informative on how to prepare the crab since we hadn't cooked it before.

I'm thrilled to share my top-tier experience with Ed's Kasilof Seafood, a standout establishment that exceeded all my expectations in terms of quality, customer service, and overall experience.

To begin, the team at Ed's took the term "precision" to an entirely new level. I handed over my freshly-caught salmon for processing and they guaranteed the weight to be exactly 50 pounds for ease of travel. This attentiveness to detail, recognizing airline weight restrictions, shows an understanding of customer needs that is far above average. Their commitment to this level of service made my entire travel process smoother and hassle-free, leaving me extremely impressed and appreciative.

Ed's also ensured the pick-up process was a dream come true. Knowing my tight travel schedule, they arranged for my processed salmon to be ready early in the morning. This kind of personalized, customer-focused service is rare to find, and it made a significant difference in my day. This is the kind of business that does more than sell a product or service, they deliver peace of mind.

Finally, the quality of their processing was second to none. Every fillet of salmon I received was in perfect condition, showing the expert care and handling by the Ed's team. You can tell they take pride in their work, and that translates into a top-notch product for the customer.

In conclusion, Ed's Kasilof Seafood is a genuine gem in the seafood industry. Their dedicated team, superior service, and attention to minute details make them more than deserving of a 5-star review. I am confident that anyone who chooses Ed's for their seafood processing needs will be just as delighted as I was. You can trust them to go the extra mile, providing an experience that is simply unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend Ed's Kasilof Seafood and look forward to my next fishing trip, knowing they are there to take care of all my processing needs.
