Went here as a group and the general consensus was that everything was good, but not great. We ordered pub chips, garlic knots, and chips and queso for appetizers. (The garlic knots were the best thing we ate all evening.) For food we had the The Big Dill, the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, the Pot Roast, The French Dip and one of the burgers. The chicken on The Big Dill and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap were decent, but the chicken was kind of tough. The French Dip sandwich was really good, but the dip was not like an au jus broth, it was a lot thicker like a gravy and kind of so-so.

Overall, I would still eat here, but it might not be the first place on my list. If you are looking for a casual place to eat attached to both a brewery and distillery then this would be a great pick.

If you’re looking for incredible food in a welcoming atmosphere, The Public House at The Alexander is a must-visit. Their Mac & Cheese with Chorizo is an absolute game-changer—rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of smoky, spicy goodness from the chorizo. Every bite is pure comfort food bliss.

And let’s talk about the Black & Blue Cheeseburger—cooked to absolute perfection, with a beautifully seasoned crust on the outside and juicy tenderness inside. The combination of bold blackened seasoning and creamy blue cheese creates a flavor explosion that burger lovers will appreciate.

Great food, excellent service, and a cozy yet upscale vibe make this spot a standout. Ask for Christine! She is amazing. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

The burger was really good and the meat delicious. There are not many options for vegetarians but the veggie burger was passable. Drink refills were very slow and service was haphazard. There were no dessert options at all.
There us an extensive beer menu posted on the wall but we could not see it and the wait staff did not mention it.

We were staying at the hotel next door and thought it would be an easy dinner - turns out the food is amazing!! We enjoyed sitting outside - I got the Veg Head flatbread and thought it was perfect… so much that I went back the next night for another one. The fried green tomatoes are a must - the flavors of the goat cheese and mustard dressing were too good. Burger ranked high - and even the salad was incredible. The service was great and everyone is so friendly. I would say it’s very low key casual yet has some incredible food. Will be back next time I’m in town!!

We were a family of four looking for a casual dinner spot. I am usually super forgiving, especially when it comes to divey pubs, but even I couldn’t believe our experience here. I called ahead to see if they had a kids menu and was told yes, and they even serve kids portions of their other options, ā€œlike a kids burgerā€. My son loves burgers so off we went. When we walked in, there was one table of four with dishes still on it. The sign said seat yourself. We waited for about ten minutes by this table before anyone came to clean it off. It took even longer for someone to come by and take our order. When I tried to order a kids burger they said they didn’t have a kids but I could order their regular burger. (When it came, the fries had about 1/4 the regular amount, looking to be kids size but they charged us for an adult burger order). After ordering drinks and food, I had to ask someone to bring us waters to the table. Our food took an incredibly long time to come. So much so that the waitresses apologized, saying their crew was new, and they were taking extra time ā€œto make sure they got it right for us.ā€ After that long wait, a waitress came by to tell my wife the pot roast she ordered was no longer available. So she had to order a new meal. She repeatedly asked for everyone else’s orders to be brought out before hers because our kids were understandably starting to protest they were so hungry (where’s our food, I’m so hungry, I have nothing to eat, etc.). We had to play multiple rounds of mad lib just to keep everyone entertained enough to not get too hangry. And when our food finally did come, it wasn’t right. I had ordered my sandwich without cheese but there was cheese on it. I had to take it up to the bar to tell the waitress it was wrong because no one checked on us after it was served. Later when the new order did come, it did not have cheese on it, but it also didn’t have sauce. I just ate the dry sandwich anyway, was too hungry to wait for someone to come by again to ask for sauce. Then the check. The waitress did offer me a free beer for all the trouble, but when the check came they had charged us for both the pot roast and my wife’s second order - as if we had ordered both! The waitress also said she applied a discount for the issues. The discount was a nickel. Literally, five cents. I’m attaching a picture of the receipt because I couldn’t believe it myself. My wife had to go up to the bar to ask them to take the pot roast off and if that was the correct discount applied. They said no and brought back a check with a 10% discount. At this point they should have comped the whole meal, but we didn’t even get the cost of our kids meal burger charged as an adult waived. I hate leaving bad reviews and like I said, normally extend a lot of grace and second chances, but this has me so annoyed that I’ll never go back. I understand it was a Monday night, but it was Dec. 30. They should’ve known most people aren’t working and looking to go out this week. We’ve always enjoyed their food at Red Leg and wanted to try their restaurant, but won’t be making that mistake again.

Okay so we stopped here for a quick bite to eat. They're location was really good and the view was great. It's really nice because it has an outside patio that overlooks mountains (there are some stores not as good views but...). It does seem to rain a decent bit in this location, so you can easily scoot inside if that's the case and you choose the patio. So I gave this place four stars but really it should be closer to three. Some of our food was really good. Some of our food was really mediocre. I'm going to chuck it up to some different tastes. Overall if I was in the area I would stop here again but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back

Some of the best burgers and food in town. Highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere and service. Fried Green tomatoes for appetizers was the best.

Update: we visited again tonight. There was a large group in the back and pretty much everyone else out front were ignored until after they left. Our food order was wrong, and the server we had to begin with was awful. We were ignored, but the guy who was our 2nd server was much better. All around not a good experience, and we most likely will not be back.
Mostly our food and server were a huge disappointment.
